Brilliant that there is Vegan options for both adults and children. Can i suggest that not all Vegans like spicy food.... especially children!! Good customer service from young man that worked there.

Championing honest, wholesome recipes made with fresh ingredients, and a warm, welcoming setting to enjoy them in, Harvester Salt Cellar is a comfy pub with a charming rural feel. Popular with families, there are dedicated menus for children, as well as a colourful play area to keep little ones entertained.

From its succulent grill selection to the celebrated unlimited salad bar, the Harvester menu is packed full of wholesome flavours for the whole family. Rotisserie chicken cooked in a secret blend of spices is available alongside tender smoked ribs marinated in signature BBQ sauce, while smaller tapas-style dishes are perfect for sharing, with options like spicy crackerjack prawns, and grilled chorizo with padron peppers. There are generous combo platters, juicy steaks, well-stacked burgers, and a great salad selection with premium additions.

All kinds of sweet treats are served on the dessert menu at this Harvester in Cheshire. The sundae selection loads real dairy ice cream with toppings like warm chocolate fudge brownie, raspberries and honeycomb pieces, while classic British options like Bramley apple pie sit alongside international twists like key lime pie. From the bar, there are world beers, spirits, and speciality soft drinks for the kids.

Always offering a warm, friendly welcome, Harvester Salt Cellar is a great example of a classic British pub given thoughtful, modern tweaks. Holmes Chapel Rail Station is a 7-minute drive away.

This was our 5th visit & we were not disappointed, very friendly staff, very professional & very polite. The quality of the food was excellent & very tasty. The steaks were done to perfection. I had the vegan option (although i do eat meat) i had previously had the vegetarian option and found them excellent value and very tasty. We eat out at many pub restaurants and have found that Harvester to be among the better outlets. Overall we had a great evening, all food arrived at the same time and as always was of a very high standard. We also had a lot of banter with the waitress and her recommendation of sweet was spot on. It is a pity i cant remember her name but we tipped her for the excellent service. The only let down was that some of the salad bar had ran out, not a criticism but a note for attention.

3 out of the four of us ordered chicken, we were later told you had run out. This was at 7pm!
The salad bar was not maintained, no bowls, no croutons, no bacon bits.
On a second trip to the salad bar 1/2 an hour later, no bowls, no croutons, no bacon bits.
Had to remind them about our drinks order, took about 20 minutes.
Apple and rhubarb crumble - the fruit was delicious, but the 'crumble' yuk. Traditionally it would be crunchy on top but this was all soft and chewy.
