Rolls rock hard

Unfortunately, one of our meals had to be rejected because the steak was very tough and the replacement was a long time coming. A The other steak proved to be 25% grizzled & sinew. The chips on three of the meals were barely acceptable.

We decided to go to Perdiswell as we had heard good reports - the restaurant was lovely - the windows were open to allow free air - I was quite earlier than my booking but it was no problem to waiting staff. Salad cart was really good with lots of choice - lettuce was in need of replenishment but not a problem. Main dishes - 1 chicken stack and 1 beef with sweet potatoes were both very tasty and the steak cooked to perfection. We went to the sauce bar and that was really fantastic. Décor was well done and the overall appearance was very clean.
