Excellent food, lovely staff. Only complaint was that the main course came too quickly,we had only just sat down with our salad, for starters.

Obviously, this is a Harvester so even going from that basis, we weren't that impressed.
The mains were actually ok - the steak was cooked as requested, though they didn't have all of the types available (for example, they had no filet steak when we were there) and the portion sizes were generous, but not massive or anything. Nothing special though - nothing you'd go back for, and the salad bar was the minimum you'd expect (and more than half the bowls available were dirty). Drinks were good - they have the unlimited soda choice, with a mix-it-yourself Pepsi system which is great. Service was as good as you can expect with the rushed staff, no complaints about the staff for sure.
The deserts were where it was a real let-down. Prices were similar for all of them, but some were massive, some tiny. One (the lemon tart) was very poor - no hint of lemon. All had been left out too long so the "fluffy" cream (aka squirt cream) had half collapsed in to a wet mess. They had no mango that night either, so the mango-containing deserts came with melon of all things instead...
Overall, it wasn't great. But it wasn't awful either - the staff were good, the unlimited Pepsi drinks great, and the mains ok. I'd advise avoiding the deserts and checking your salad bowls carefully before using.

Excellent food, but unfortunately it had cooled by the time it got to us; the restaurant was very busy. That said, the staff were quick to make amends. We look forward to our next meal there.
The salad bar was great as ever. The recent refurbishment has made the dining rooms much brighter and very pleasant.

We like the re-fit. it's much lighter and well done on retaining the salad bar, which is Harvester's USP. It's a shame some of the other restaurants have been rebranded.
Service good, food just as we wanted. so very pleased with the overall dining experience.
