With its thatched roof, cosy feel inside, and popular outdoor seating area on the lawn, Harvester Ham Farm is the quintessential rural pub. Wholesome home-style recipes feature on the menu, with special options just for kids, and cask ales and international wines served at the bar for adults.

From its succulent grill selection to the celebrated unlimited salad bar, the Harvester menu is packed full of wholesome flavours for the whole family. Rotisserie chicken cooked in a secret blend of spices is available alongside tender smoked ribs marinated in signature BBQ sauce, while smaller tapas-style dishes are perfect for sharing, with options like spicy crackerjack prawns, and grilled chorizo with padron peppers. There are generous combo platters, juicy steaks, well-stacked burgers, and a great salad selection with premium additions.

All kinds of sweet treats are served on the dessert menu at this Harvester in Eastleigh. The sundae selection loads real dairy ice cream with toppings like warm chocolate fudge brownie, raspberries and honeycomb pieces, while classic British options like Bramley apple pie sit alongside international twists like key lime pie. From the bar, there are world beers, spirits, and speciality soft drinks for the kids.

A great example of an enduring rural British pub, Harvester Ham Farm is a 3-minute drive from Eastleigh Rail Station.

The Ham Farm has recently been refurbished to a high standard. It composes of 2 buildings, the main restaurant and a much smaller premises which is more of a traditional "pub". The outlook in the main restaurant is across tree lined Itchen navigation, with many birds and glimpses of the river. Main meals are served in both parts, the "pub" being smaller is more intimate. The salad bar is situated in the main building so you have to go outside, across a pathway into the main building to serve yourself, not a big deal. There is a large car park area to the front of the building although it is usually quite full.

Prebooked the table as its always busy here. Table was available on time. Waitress was attentive and took drinks order quickly although my drink was flat and i had to ask to have it changed which the staff werent too keen about. Food arrived quickly, was hot (except for the corn on the cob). Dont like havesters new fries though.
Overall a typical havester meal. Good value but I've had better chain pub meals.
