With its thatched roof, cosy feel inside, and popular outdoor seating area on the lawn, Harvester Ham Farm is the quintessential rural pub. Wholesome home-style recipes feature on the menu, with special options just for kids, and cask ales and international wines served at the bar for adults.

From its succulent grill selection to the celebrated unlimited salad bar, the Harvester menu is packed full of wholesome flavours for the whole family. Rotisserie chicken cooked in a secret blend of spices is available alongside tender smoked ribs marinated in signature BBQ sauce, while smaller tapas-style dishes are perfect for sharing, with options like spicy crackerjack prawns, and grilled chorizo with padron peppers. There are generous combo platters, juicy steaks, well-stacked burgers, and a great salad selection with premium additions.

All kinds of sweet treats are served on the dessert menu at this Harvester in Eastleigh. The sundae selection loads real dairy ice cream with toppings like warm chocolate fudge brownie, raspberries and honeycomb pieces, while classic British options like Bramley apple pie sit alongside international twists like key lime pie. From the bar, there are world beers, spirits, and speciality soft drinks for the kids.

A great example of an enduring rural British pub, Harvester Ham Farm is a 3-minute drive from Eastleigh Rail Station.

    Restaurant dark and uninviting.
Fish and chips: fish batter very hard and fish overcooked. Baked fish, baked potato: fish dry and had bones, potato reheated and skin chewy and inedible.

Staff were extremely polite, friendly and good at their job.

This was our Christmas lunch and i was very disappointed. One member of the party ordered the two course Christmas meal and when we got to the puddings was then told that there was no Christmas pudding and only two choices to pick from. The Brussels sprouts were not cooked properly and the carrots were too sweet to eat just glazed in honey and cold. The peacan pie was not nice and the cappuccino was so strong, just coffee with froth on the top so i asked for another one and exactley the same came again, i was told they could not do anything as it was out of a machine, and there was no chocolate sprinkles either. There was five of us in the party and we were squeezed onto a table of four with the fifth person poked on the end. There was enough room to get round her but the table was so crammed once we all had our meals and salad.
We were all very disappointed with the of the food and did expect a lot better care to the quality dished up. My 12 year old cooks better than the food we were given.

The food was very good as it always is and the service friendly and efficient. We were especially impressed because although we arrived 15 minutes late, and our reserved table had already been cancelled, we were allowed to eat in the adjoining pub building. It was a great relief as it would have spoilt the day otherwise.
