The food was excellent and plenty to eat. The staff, Hayley who looked after us was so nice. Thank you.

Just to say that after eating st the Moby Dick, it was dreadful, so we will be dining st the Greyhound harvester in future.

From its succulent grill selection to the celebrated unlimited salad bar, the Harvester menu is packed full of wholesome flavours for the whole family. Rotisserie chicken cooked in a secret blend of spices is available alongside tender smoked ribs marinated in signature BBQ sauce, while smaller tapas-style dishes are perfect for sharing, with options like spicy crackerjack prawns, and grilled chorizo with padron peppers. There are generous combo platters, juicy steaks, well-stacked burgers, and a great salad selection with premium additions.

All kinds of sweet treats are served on the dessert menu at this Harvester in Romford. The sundae selection loads real dairy ice cream with toppings like warm chocolate fudge brownie, raspberries and honeycomb pieces, while classic British options like Bramley apple pie sit alongside international twists like key lime pie. From the bar, there are world beers, spirits, and speciality soft drinks for the kids.

Also with an al fresco seating area at the front that makes a perfect spot for drinks in the sun, Harvester Greyhound is a 10-minute walk from Chadwell Heath Rail Station.

Staff are friendly and professional. There does seem to be a long wait to book in at the reception desk. Food is hot and I enjoyed mine but my dining companion said the middle part of his fish (he ordered the fish and chips) was inedible.

The server was welcoming and attentive although it was busy. The best meal was the half aromatic duck vert succulent and tasty. The Jamaica Jek beef was too dry. The Vegetarian tart was very good. The salad bar was fully stocked. The restaurant is spacious with comfortable seating.
