Attentive, helpful and pleasant waitress. Good menu selection - something to suit evryone's palate. Drinks order very slow to arrive - have experienced this before at that time of evening.

Standard Harvester with lots of grilled meats and the usual salad bar. Not the greatest for gluten free - their book tells you what you can't eat, not what you can eat - but we managed.

We took a couple of friends for a meal which was very nice. Staff were very friendly and the setting was very comfortable and relaxed

I ordered Fish and Chips for my main meal and it was awful, the fish was covered in a thick greasy batter. I could actually see the fat pouring out as I cut into the fish. There was hardly any fish inside the batter at all. I usually go to a local restaurant where I order the same meal for less money and the food is first class. The price on the menu stated that my meal cost £9.99. When I had finished my food the waitress said that I had a free dessert, after having such a disappointing meal I thought I might have it, so I chose the ice-cream with a butterscotch sauce which I have to say this was very good. When the bill arrived I found out that my pudding was not free at all because the price of my meal came to approximately £11.49, so in actual fact I did pay for the dessert. Extremely confusing. I did not complain to the staff as I was with a friend whom I had not seen for a long period of time and did not want to spoil the evening. Also it was myself that chose and booked the venue. I told my friend that my meal was disappointing and she said to me 'I don't think that this restaurant has been up to standard for a while now'. We did tip the waitress as she had been very busy all evening dashing around with customers. When I got home my husband and daughter asked me how the meal went and I told them 'That it was awful'. Sorry but I will not be coming back!

Restaurant nice and clean and staff very good but food was not hot particularly the chips, certain items on the salad bar needed replenishing but there was plenty of staff who all looked smart and our waiter was very good.

I booked a table for my family and I for my little boys 5th birthday. They served excellent food and excellent service, they went out of there way to make sure we had an enjoyable and memorable evening.

If I'm honest driving through the area we wasn't to sure how it would be, but it seems to be a diamond in the rough lovely decor, staff and food very impressed would highly recommend and will visit again if we're ever in the area.

food was average to say the least. This venue is unpredictable for quality. Sometimes excellent, sometimes very mediocre.
I accept that it is a "Family" pub, but it's not pleasant to have unsupervised children running up and down step amongst other diners when their parents are preoccupied on mobile phones etc, etc.
It is not to be recommended for someone wanting a quiet dining experience, more like quick in, quick out.

Table for 12 booked, however increased to 14 as visitors from USA . We were disappointed to be split over two tables in one of the lower alcoves. The waitress who showed us to our table was helpful.
