Close to Old Trafford Football Ground, Harry Ramsden’s Manchester Stretford serves famous fish & chips in a bright, bustling setting.

Famed for its classic fish and chips and a closely guarded secret recipe, Harry Ramsden’s restaurants are a true favourite amongst the nation. Found in various UK locations, Harry Ramsden’s is a British institution, having served delicious fish dishes and British classics since 1928, when Harry Ramsden set up his first takeaway store.

Fresh and carefully sourced, the cod, plaice and haddock are deliciously battered and served with homemade chunky chips, and soused with salt and vinegar. Beautifully fresh fish isn’t all Harry Ramsden’s is famous for: the menu boasts great British dishes such as the mouth-watering premium pie and mash, or the chicken and scampi special. Harry Ramsden’s chip shop also has a fun and tasty kids' menu for the little ones, and signature dishes for senior diners.

Within easy reach of Manchester city centre, Harry Ramsden’s Manchester Stretford is a friendly restaurant serving delicious British dishes.

Would not visit this Harry Ramsden's again! Our booking was for 1.30 pm and they had already run out of Plaice. Apparently there had been a morning rush on Plaice - ? fish and chip breakfast. Really no need to book - restaurant was empty. The famous Harry Ramsdens chips were dry and looked days old!

Got there earlier than expected and it wasnt busy even on matchday at 12:30 so got a table early. The food came quickly and was very good and the same can be said about the beer and the staff were very helpful. The location is great as well since it is near Old Trafford but not too near so its always packed

Excellent meal, we had traditional fish, chips and mushy peas with bread and butter plus a pot of tea. The regular size fish was a good size and very tasty with a nice light crispy batter, chips and the mushy peas also very good. A nice few cups of Yorkshire tea complemented the meal.
Our server was very friendly and attentive.
All in all a very pleasant experience, although we travelled the 30 miles from Crewe it was well worth the journey, as it combined some shopping in Salford Quays, we will return.
