Lovely experience for afternoon tea. Visited with husband and family members to celebrate wedding anniversary, was not disappointed. Staff were very attentive and so much wonderful food ... Will certainly visit again.

Formerly the cobbled driveway to the original station, Hansom Lounge at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel London offers a selection of light bites and refined afternoon tea. The historic building has retained many original features including a vaulted roof and Barlow Blue girders.

Light bites on the Hansom Lounge menu include fresh sandwiches and salads, as well as hearty burgers with fries. Sharing boards include an artisan cheese board and a Mediterranean selection, whilst baked passion fruit cheesecake and rhubarb soufflé are amongst the indulgent desserts.

Afternoon tea at Hansom Lounge King’s Cross exudes quintessential indulgence. Start with a selection of sandwiches, including roast beef with horseradish cream, Scottish salmon with dill crème fraiche, and cucumber with mint and lemon and curd cheese. On the sweet section of the menu, scones, cream and jam are joined by the likes of raspberry macarons and lemon drizzle cake. As well as a range of teas, the afternoon tea menu is topped off by a choice of cocktails and champagne.

Housed in an iconic building, Hansom Lounge London sits next to Kings Cross and St Pancras Rail Stations.

Loved our afternoon tea experience! Narisse was such a great host! Beautiful food and presentation. The variety of tea was lovely at a reasonable price. Truly enjoyed the ambience as well!

So disappointing! We had Afternoon tea here in 2015 to celebrate my 60th Birthday. We really enjoyed the whole experience. Brought friends with us a second time to celebrate another occasion after telling them how special it was.
It couldn't have been much worse. The menu had changed completely and not for the better..... clearly trying to cut the cost base! Terrible selection of sandwiches...3 mini brioche that are difficult to eat and had "micro fillings)! Scones we're Chocolate/Cherry & White chocolate ( a contemporary twist but didn't work) warm so difficult to eat very messy as you can imagine being Chocolate! and to have with Strawberry jam& cream.. awful
Finally the plate of cakes... mini flapjack and a mini bottle filled with Banana & Strawberry yoghurt drink which tasted awful like sour milk.
Wish we had never gone and will never go again. For £38 per person?!?!
    Go to Claridges/Dorchester or Savoy.

What an impressive building! The atmosphere is very relaxed and calming. A harpist played modern songs and lullabied us to the next course. The service was excellent too!

We had afternoon tea. It was excellent - tasty sandwiches in brioche rolls and pinwheel shapes, chocolate scones and a good variety of cakes. The service was very good and the atmosphere was very relaxing.

Location was busy, but overall extremely interesting and unusual. All very efficient. Food was pleasant and service was attentive. Building was outstanding. A worthwhile experience we would recommend to others. It was more about the location experience than the food.

When the English Breakfast tea was poured, it looked very pale and smelt and tasted like Earl Grey. When questioned, two waiting staff were adamant that it was English Breakfast. Very unlikely to revisit
