The 2010 winner of the Matkultur prize, Hanne Frosta and her team present a distinctly Norwegian dining experience. Using locally sourced, organic ingredients, Marg & Bein offers a considered menu consisting of all the Norwegian favourites. From mussels to pea soup with pork knuckle, and from pies and salads to tasty sandwiches topped with ham, cheese, fish and the finest herbs that the Norwegian landscape has to offer. As the restaurant is a member of ‘Smak av kysten’ [taste of the coast], half of the menu is dedicated to seafood. Just like the main menu, the children’s menu offers an uncompromised approach to Norway’s finest cuisine with local and organic produce.
