Lovely food, excellent service
14 February 2017
Hams Hame Pub & Grill serves Scottish cuisine on the edge of one of the world’s most famous golf courses. The food menu showcases the best in local produce, whilst a host of beers are joined by more than 20 Scottish single malts and over a dozen blended whiskies.
Adding a global twist to timeless Scottish fare, the Hams Hame menu begins with the likes of crispy poached egg and haggis salad. Amongst the flavour-packed mains, discover pan-fried sea trout with lemon-crushed potatoes and chorizo & mussel velouté, or the Cajun chicken burger with red pepper relish, mozzarella and skinny fries.
Desserts at Hams Hame are just as rich in flavour, with the likes of sticky toffee pudding served with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce, crème bruleé, and chocolate brownie on the menu. A selection of teas, coffees and hot chocolates join the extensive range of beers, wines and whiskies on the drinks menu.
In a unique setting, Hams Hame St Andrews is a short stroll from the course, the coast and the town centre.

Another nice meal in Hams Hame. We often go here when in St Andrews as they allow dogs which is handy for us. I would like to see a bit more choice on the menu. Service was a little slow as it was busy and my friends asked for coffees and when they came they got a large mug not even half full!

Nice place. Shame about some of the food. My meal was OK. My wifes partly inedible. Mussel starter came with tin of chopped tomatoes poured on top. No finesse & half were closed and inedible. Her main - fish cooked OK but came on a gloopy mess of crushed potatoes and some kind of sauce - uninspiring to say the least.
