At Edinburgh's most prestigious address, the AA Rosette award-winning Hadrian's Brasserie nestles within the opulent 5-star Balmoral Hotel. The Celtic-inspired menu is presented in the chic and buzzing restaurant.
With walnut floors and lime and soft heather walls, the dining room at Hadrian’s Brasserie has an art-deco inspired interior throughout, in which to experience magnificent fine dining and brasserie-style cuisine.
Hadrian’s contemporary menu features Celtic influenced favourites and international dishes with a Scottish twist. Signature dishes include the world famous haggis served with neeps and tatties in a whisky sauce and the roast loin of Perthshire venison accompanied by sweet potatoes and an elderflower port jus. There is a fun and sumptuous little angel's menu for children. Desserts include the coconut profiteroles with vanilla Chantilly cream and a rich chocolate sauce or a Scottish and continental cheese selection.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Service and attention to detail was very good. A bit of a backlog at the entrance to the restaurant but once seated, verybenjoyable

A lovely setting, very professional but friendly & attentive staff. My partner had the foie gras starter which was delicious, I had smoked salmon which was really nice as well. We both had the Xmas Turkey Main which again was lovely - my only comment being the vegetables were too Al dente & crunchy. Overall however it was a very enjoyable lunch & would go again!

Two of us had the lemon sole which was very nice, my other friend had the lamb chops which was a small portion, served with chips, didn't feel this was good value.
