Filled with greenery, mirrors, and with a glass-fronted kitchen, Haandi in Knightsbridge showcases an exotic blend of North Indian frontier cuisine. Diners can watch the chefs at work, and there is a great selection of vegetarian delicacies at the forefront of the menu.
The Haandi menu is rich in colour and spice. Mouth-watering appetisers include slices of tandoori-barbecued lobster served in shell, laced with garlic tomato chutney, while a superb selection of curries are made with delicate blends of spices. Vegetarian delicacies include a masala made with mushrooms cooked on an iron griddle, and another with stir-fried okra. Freshly-made naan breads are available in a variety of ways, ranging from those made with cheese, to potato, chilli and onion.
Sweet treats at Haandi in Knightsbridge include traditional Indian flavours, including Indian ice cream with mango, and creamy cheese curd served with milk, nuts and saffron.
Ideally located close to the iconic Harrod's store, Haandi restaurant in London is also only 8 minutes' walk from Knightsbridge Tube Station.

Excellent food. I was quite surprised to find this in the league of gymkhana and bombay brasserie. Service is far from refined but they are attentive. I will definitely be returning.

Think this is one f the bst Indian restaurans in London. You can watch your food being cooked and see the chefs chopping the fresh herbs. We have been eating n this restaurant since 2007 and have never had anything but fantastic food. A regular for us. Authentic Indian, great service. Delicious ??

Nice environment but disappointed with the breadth of menu & the quality of the food. Was expecting authentic Indian but seemed to be more African/ Indian fusion... Seemed overpriced too particularly as waiter service was also very casual & not attentive

Service was good but it seemed booking was not registered with the gentleman who greeted us. Fortunately there was room for our group of 8. We started picking from the menu but the waiter suggested a selection so all could have a taste of everything. Nice selection but a little bossy for me!! French visitors loved the food! That was the goal!!
