I booked a cream tea for some of my family who were celebrating my daughter's graduation.
The sandwiches, cakes, scones and drinks were delicious.
The waiter/barman who served us was very attentive.
It was a lovely afternoon spent after the graduation.

    I'm surprised u ask - I think it was probably the worst meal I have ever eaten.

    We came here to eat for our 2nd wedding anniversary, We got married in the hotel and stayed last year also (in total this is our 6th stay).

    We found the restaurant had no atmosphere on this occasion, no music or Christmas decorations. Staff were nice though it must be said.

    They didn't have the drink i wanted (diet coke) i would have thought a top hotel would have a plan B, even sending out for some bottles? My main, vegetable curry, was okay. £15 for an okay curry is not what i expect after having fantastic food before.

    My wife's main, lamb, was good but a little over done plus they ran out of green beans! just send someone out to get some maybe? We then wen to the bar, no Zinfandel Rose, my wife had this in the restaurant but she cant have it in the bar apparently?

    We will be back next year for a drink but don't think we will eat again , a real shame. With parking it was nearly £60 for a okay meal, i would expect a bit more really.

    Booked restaurant for afternoon tea. Good table near window overlooking garden. Food was average, cake stand had many large chips! Our waitress disappeared once she had brought the food - no check to see if everything was ok.

    Lovely huge pot of tea, followed straight away with sandwiches and cakes,me and my elderly gentleman who I care for only liked the ham and egg,would of been nice to be asked what fillings we like,as we left half of them,the scones with jam were very tasty ,was served by a friendly young lady

    Menu selection was poor. Menu itself could of been better presented ( just an A4 piece of paper ) Had to send a steak back as it was mainly gristle but was dealt with very well. Overall a very good meal.

    It was a bit of a nightmare from the very beginning...
    The waitress was rude from the offset, very abrupt in her manner and not customer focussed.
    We were waiting for our friend to come to arrive and so she delivered our food with only 3 settings despite telling her we had booked for 4, the tea was cold and we put in a request for ham only sandwiches for one of the guests but she delivered a variety of fillings despite requesting it at booking and reminding her at the table. We had to wait a further 15 minutes for the fourth guests food and at no point were we asked if everything was ok, the tea had gone cold again and we had to ask for a refill. I wouldn't recommend the afternoon tea at all.

    Having been a long time returner to Grand Harbour, I was looking forward to the usual standard both in accommodation and dining. I was extremely disappointed. My main course was presented warm at best. The medium lamb was gristly and in parts not pink but red raw and because it was warm at best was greasy. I left over 2/3rd of it. The warm jus was tasteless and the beans , warm at best, cooled to cold very quickly. We were offered no bread before our starter arrived and we had to ask for water. Where was the maitre d'hotel? In the past he certainly would not have allowed adjacent tables to remain uncleared for the duration of our meal. What has happened to our one time favourite venue for a weekend shopping trip?
    We bought pre dinner drinks from the extremely busy bar with only one person serving. How could this one time premier hotel run out of orange juice and Diet Coke on any day let alone a busy Saturday?
