Excellent service provided, the food was brilliant and didn't have to wait too long. The staff were very pleasent and helpful.

I don't know why Giraffe is so popular. It's a cramped, unfomfortable restaurant with poor quality food and relatively high prices for what is almost a high end ready meal. The burgers are miserably small (6oz of beef, and no option for a double), contain a pathetic amount of salad, and the cheeseburger my 9 year old son ordered had bacon with rind so soft he started choking after accidentally swallowing it.The mexican items we ordered were priced at over £10 each, plus the "optional" 12.5% service charge and were also of poor quality. It wouldn't surprise me if they'd come pre made in a packet and were simply placed into an oven to reheat. The desserts were all priced at over £5 each, and were quite ordinary considering the price[...]The service on the busy Saturday night we visted was acceptable, but I can't recommend anyone go to Giraffe Blackheath. If you've got kids, you can get much better value elsewhere, and if you're a group of adults, you can get much better food and a nicer atmosphere just about anywhere!

We dined at 7.30 on Good friday and it was disappointing that some of the chicken dishes were sold out. We ordered 2 mains - BBQ ribs which were tasty but the battered fish was poor - tasteless and batter was heavy. Service was friendly and good - shame about the fish. Perhaps need to pick from menu more carefully.

Overall the dining experience was average, also unfortunately although handled efficiently by the manager, we had a screaming child to contend with. Apart from the Crunchy Prawns (starter) and the Rodeo burger, the remainder of the meal did not live up to my expectations, as I have had the pleasure of dining in your branch located on the south bank. This experience was superb on all levels.
