First class : good food : attentive staff, very good experience, however, house wine although jolly good was vastly overpriced !

Brimming with authentic Italian charm, Getti Marylebone serves wholesome delicacies from the sunny climes of Sicily and Sardinia. A timelessly-styled retreat, chic and tranquil pavement dining offsets a glitzy bar indoors.

Simple and nutritious yet loaded with flavour, the Getti menu showcases time-honoured recipes made with the finest ingredients. With Tuscan chef Giulio Rossi at the helm, classic dishes include tasty gnocchi, or a platter of sumptuous Italian meats. Fresh fish and seafood present expertly executed house specialities at Getti restaurant, with choices ranging from calamari to a tender sea bass fillet.

Crisp interior design at Getti London features a royal blue and white palette, whilst expansive windows fill the fresh dining room with light. An impressive wine selection is displayed at the bar, and unrivalled favourites for dessert include tiramisu and forest fruit panna cotta.

Energetic yet laidback, Getti Marylebone blends Italian tradition and contemporary flourishes. Regent’s Park Tube Station is 8 minutes’ walk away.

Very attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble. We had brought a baby wih us, who was happy, but messy. They were very understanding.

I have had lunch here on a number of occasions and the food and service is always good. They were very patient as two of our "party" arrived late but we didn't feel hurried along at any point.

Good service and good food, but tables rather close together and therefore not so easy to have a business conversation.

It was a very good experience with two exceptions: The music was not of my taste and far too loud BUT the excellent and very polite staff turned it down to a very low level. Of course, such music is totally unnecessary. On the other hand Mozart or Vivaldi would be a sheer pleasure.
The other problem was that I ordered Cotelletta Milanese expecting a certain size of portion. What I received was far too much and as a result was unable to get through it. I should have sent it back before starting but that is always difficult - next time, and I hope the opportunity will occur, I will discuss portion size first.
Apart from that it was very good indeed. However it was delicious. I have been attending the restaurant on that corner for many years until my retirement. I looked for Alpino and found Getti. It is better!

First, we were kept waiting for 10 minutes without any of the waiters or staff caring to take us to our table. Then, it took for ever to have a menu, to place an order. The waitress who poured the wine spilled a good chunk of it. Very disappointing overall

There seemed to be a language problem from one of the waiters assigned to our table. He didn't appreciate that Bruschetta was served before the main course and also served the wrong main course to one of my friends. He did apologise though and gave her a free glass of prosecco!
My main course of spaghetti with clams and chilli was quite bland and lacked substance and my other friends course of Gnocchi was also bland.
When ordering teas and coffees, this also proved a problem on the language front, so the manager had to do the ordering!
This was a great shame as this was supposed to be a nice lunch with my friends celebrating my Birthday!
