A glamorous dining destination in the heart of Leeds, Gaucho offers premium steaks and elegant South American cuisine. Its sleek interior is bedecked with black leather and monochrome cow-print, lit by glittering crystal chandeliers.
Taking inspiration from vibrant South American culture, the Gaucho menu presents an array of bold natural flavours. Fresh ingredients are sourced from Argentina and used to compile favourite dishes, like king prawns with black pudding and fresh orange, or a trio of juicy beef medallions.
Renowned for its dramatically decorated dining rooms, Gaucho restaurants feature swathes of plush black and white leather and rich cowhide stools, all offset by twinkling chandeliers. Contemporary and edgy, Gaucho in Leeds also offers traditional grappa, glamorous cocktails, and fine wines from Argentina’s most celebrated growing regions.
At the very centre of the Leeds legal and banking district, Gaucho is a luxurious hideout on Park Row, a 6-minute walk from Leeds Station.

Cool place with exceptional food & service. The mix medallions of beef were so good & plenty to go at.

Loved the overall look of the restaurant, tables a little cramped together and didn't like the background music was a little too much repetitive drum beat made it a little hard to relax.
Waiting time for main was too long table booked for 9 didn't get main until after 11 so struggled to eat it when it arrived and a little expensive to waste.
Wine menu needs improvement not enough detail on the wine itself apart from where its from and the price, white started at £27 per bottle.
Liked how the steaks were explained and our steaks were cooked to perfection great quality meat and great sides prices of Steaks started at £26.95 on a 300g and went upwards in price per weight which was a good Idea sharing a larger steak between two looked like a good idea.
would recommend and will go back, booking to eat earlier next time.

Very attentive staff. Nice booth so we could chat and feel private whilst eating. A good space. Loved the steak board show and explain before you chose what you wanted to have.
Nice well executed steak and chips.
Steps and basement not good for those with disabilities

Booking was done online but due to unforeseen circumstances we had to reduce the table booking from 8 to 5 on the day when someone from Gaucho phoned to check our booking for that evening. When we arrived we advised our name and was taken to our table. 5 minutes into our arrival and I recieved a call from Gaucho to ask if I was still coming, to which I advised we were sat at the table. Service was shocking. It took 20 minutes before we all recieved our drinks and that's after we chased up the order. The food was fabulous.... but was spoilt again with service. We had starters and mains and the problem was our mains, 3 people's were brought out their food but we were still waiting on two dishes and then someone from the next table asked for some more cultary so they could eat the left overs of the parties....he had only just arrived yet the party was getting ready to order desert. We didn't get our full meals until after our waitress had got the cultary. So yet more time waiting around with poor service. Anyway after this we were all full and decided against a dessert yet we were given a complimentary dessert as we were celebrating a birthday on the table. We were then surprised to find that we had been charged for this dessert.....and not until we complained did we get it knocked off the bill by the manager who said it was a mix up!! Shocking!!
