Serving sustainable seafood in the heart of Glasgow, Gamba has earned 2 AA Rosettes for its exciting menu.

Focussing on locally sourced produce, the Gamba menu is led by fresh seafood dishes, but also showcases flavourful meat and vegetarian options. Try hand-dived king scallops with cauliflower and parmesan purée, truffle oil and black pudding, or fresh Isle of Gigha halibut with mussels, crabmeat, garden peas, red pepper cream and crispy capers. Elsewhere on the menu, find barley risotto with parmesan and pesto, or roast breast of duck with spring greens, ginger, turnip mash, chilli, honey and soy.

An extensive wine list complements the menu at Gamba restaurant Glasgow, whilst indulgent desserts and a selection of cheese boards offer a sublime end to the meal. With a nautical theme, blue glass windows and a colourful seafood mural adorning the wall create a bright, laid-back setting.

Centrally located, Gamba Glasgow is a 6-minute walk from Glasgow Central Train Station.

This was a tremendous lunch. Each course was well presented and delicious. Chose their wine of the month, which was also very good.

This restaurant remains an oasis in central Glasgow. Consistently steady hands in the kitchen produce unfussy seafood of top quality with some of the best sauces around. Service professional and friendly, but not over-friendly, prompt but not hurried. Excellently chosen wine selection across the price spectrum.

Despite my companion not liking fish, she was able to feed herself very well at Gamba! Both my fish starter and main dishes were excellent. The gnocchi dish she had was very different but very tasty. The bakewell tart was full of cherry flavour and delicious. It was then wrapped off with a very good quality coffee and a surprise fudge portion. Loved the little fig rolls - nice and sweet and sticky. Decor very modern, clean and presentable. Loved the glass serving dishes and plates. Waiter/ress most pleasant and accommodating and prompt with delivery of food and drinks. No negative thoughts.

Have eaten here several times. Food always excellent and ambience very good too. This time table was not ready for us until 20mins after booking time. Order was then very slow to be taken. probably because it was December! We don't like to be rushed-one of reasons we like Gamba, but this was not good.
