Serving sustainable seafood in the heart of Glasgow, Gamba has earned 2 AA Rosettes for its exciting menu.

Focussing on locally sourced produce, the Gamba menu is led by fresh seafood dishes, but also showcases flavourful meat and vegetarian options. Try hand-dived king scallops with cauliflower and parmesan purée, truffle oil and black pudding, or fresh Isle of Gigha halibut with mussels, crabmeat, garden peas, red pepper cream and crispy capers. Elsewhere on the menu, find barley risotto with parmesan and pesto, or roast breast of duck with spring greens, ginger, turnip mash, chilli, honey and soy.

An extensive wine list complements the menu at Gamba restaurant Glasgow, whilst indulgent desserts and a selection of cheese boards offer a sublime end to the meal. With a nautical theme, blue glass windows and a colourful seafood mural adorning the wall create a bright, laid-back setting.

Centrally located, Gamba Glasgow is a 6-minute walk from Glasgow Central Train Station.

    This was an absolutely delicious lunch. Portland Crab starter was fantastic with just a hint of heat, we both chose it. I had Scallops with Orkney Black Pudding - divine, my husband had Lemon Sole Meunière equally divine. We shared a gorgeous Creme Brûlée for dessert. I nearly forgot to mention the lovely warm fig rolls we had, they set the expectations high & everything to follow matched up.

    An excellent meal in a superb restaurant. The food and service was of a very high standard. My wife who is Coeliac said the gluten free cheesecake was one of the best gluten free sweets she had eaten in her 20 years of gluten free food. I particularly enjoyed the fish soup and my wife had the stone bass as her main course which was perfect. As a restaurant it is a little more expensive than the average but excellent value for money for a special occasion.

    Food and service were both excellent. Expensive, but you do get what you pay for, which is not always the case with high-end restaurants.

    Arrived a little late due to heavy traffic and was greeted with a warm welcome and shown to our seat. Very comfortable and beautifully decorated surrounds.Staff were attentive and professional at all times. We had the king scallops and lemon sole for dinner and my guest asked for the lemon sole to be off the bone with no butter and a little oil, I took the scallops as recommended. The dinner was presented as we asked, it tasted great and was presented beautifully. WE had a great meal with great service in a comfortable and professional location.

    Good value theatre menu. Lovely fish soup. Teriyaki salmon well cooked but overpowered by too much of a very sweet sauce. Cheese ok. Service polite and friendly. Would recommend and go again.

    The staff were attentive yet not overwhelming, the food portions were of o good size and we both left full and not wanting.
    The only criticism if you could call it that, was I would have liked the bread rolls to have been served warm, but that is a personal preference, overall a very pleasant and enjoyable experience.
