Fantastic location and really good service. We were the only dinner reservation which is a great pity for the restaurant and staff.

    Very disappointing food, but amazing view - even on a rainy day.

    Firstly, I arrived early for my booking, and ordered immediately because I'd checked the menu online, only to be told they were out of lobster. I find this unacceptable considering I've had a booking for nearly a month.

    I had the duck to start (which was 3 bites of cold overlooked duck and a heap of fig compote.) All I could taste was fig, with a slightly stale brioche bun.

    Because of the lack of lobster, I requested a starter sized portion of the halibut. (I was still charged the main course price!). The sauce was actually unpleasant- though I hate to say that about food. The fish itself was of good quality.

    The tastiest thing I had was the asparagus...though even this could have done with some more seasoning.

    For the price, I was expecting a quality dinner. But even if this had been half the price, I would have still been disappointed!

    Ordinarily I would enjoy a view with a tea or coffee, but on this occasion I couldn't wait to get out of there.

    Staff were friendly. They knew I was disappointed.

    I would recommend popping in for a drink after walking up to the viewing area (which is stunning). But certainly nothing more.

    Maden var god og der var en flot udsigt over byen og fjorden. Det var en underlig blanding af cafeteria og fin restaurant. Uklart hvor jeg skulle bestille min mad.

    Everything fine, except the delay to have our dishes after the command was taken and the expression of the waitress : "You still don't have been served?!".

    Nice Food, good kitchen. Inexperienced waiting staff, but what our waiter lacked in experience he made up for in charm and willingness to please.
    We like the rather limited menu. Made the Choices easy, and all six dishes our party ordered were very nice.
    However, the overall experience was somewhat marred by troublesome procedure when we wanted to settle the bill. We wanted a specific (uneven) 3-way split that included tips; the staff told us that that was impossible due to the computer system. Paying the bill ended up taking about 20 minutes. Very unfortunate, and definitely something you should improve.

    Nyttårsferiring på Bergens tak var helt fortreffelig, nydelig utsikt. Stemningen ble tatt litt ned sa det ikke var dresskode, og mange ankom for minipakke (musserende + kanapé) en time før midnatt - i turklær. Gjester som hadde tilbrakte hele kvelden i rest. hadde mye høyere bevissthet rundt dette
