Lovely room for tea especially the bigger part of the room by the window.

In the heart of bustling Knightsbridge, The Egerton House Hotel offers elegant boutique dining. With crisp table linen, crystal and candles, The Egerton House maintains a classic simplicity, serving fine afternoon tea in an historic venue.

Traditional afternoon tea at Egerton House Hotel offers a selection of mouth-watering sandwiches, freshly baked scones with Devonshire clotted cream and indulgent cakes. Try the homemade chocolate and orange brownie, toffee caramel cupcake and spiced pumpkin and plum tart.

Add extra indulgence with the champagne afternoon tea and for the kids, a Teddy Bear's Picnic afternoon tea adds a playful twist to the tradition, with miniature treats accompanied by a delicious hot chocolate drink.

The discreet Egerton House is known for its classic signature martinis alongside a range of gins, whiskies and specially selected spirits from all over the world. The Egerton House Hotel is a 7-minute walk from Knightsbridge and South Kensington Tube Stations.

The restaurant is gorgeous and historic, with wonderful music and lighting. The staff are polite and eager to assist, and the food is brought out promptly. Both the tea and coffee are amazing, and the food was absolutely delicious! The attention to detail in both the cooking and the service made this one of the best meals I've ever had.

The afternoon tea was delightful. The tea room was inviting and cozy. Our waiter Joao gave us great recommendations for our second tea. The sandwiches and scones were delicious. We honestly didn't have room for many of the desserts but standouts were the pistachio cookie and the apple crumble. 2 hours FLEW by!

We would definitely come back again!

A really great place to eat. The food was prepared fresh and served with care. The choice of food was excellent and the staff great. Nothing was too much trouble and we were given the best seats and table. The tea was hot and plentiful and was leaf tea and not tea bags. This is a five star hotel and it shows with the décor, staff and food.
Staff went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed.

This dining experience was truly exceptional in every way. We wanted to celebrate our dogs birthday in style! The friendly staff were intent on making it a pleasant visit, the food was delicious and the surroundings a haven of calm and elegance in the centre of London. We chose this location because of the ability to bring our dog and they could not have been happier to accommodate him and spoil him rotten. I would return again and again. Thank you to all the wonderful staff.

Afternoon tea with champagne, a perfect way to celebrate our 40- years anniversary. Friendly staff and a fine selection of sandwiches, scones and sweets.
    Who could ask for more?

Rather a nice experience, cosy in just the right way. Do go here if you're looking for a luxurious afternoon tea in the old traditional manner without the bustle of the Ritz this is the place to go (well, I believe someone forgot the shilling in the christmas pudding - it might have scared off a few tourists, but still). Seems to be an old haunt of Charles M. Schultz.
