We booked a teatime at the Egerton House and it was the best part of our whole trip. Everything was really perfect: the teatime, the staff, the ambience - our friend was celebrating her birthday and even got a small birthday cake, thanks a lot! Great house, 100% recommendation!

In the heart of bustling Knightsbridge, The Egerton House Hotel offers elegant boutique dining. With crisp table linen, crystal and candles, The Egerton House maintains a classic simplicity, serving fine afternoon tea.

Traditional afternoon tea at Egerton House Hotel offers a selection of mouth-watering sandwiches, freshly baked scones with Devonshire clotted cream and indulgent cakes. Try the homemade chocolate and orange brownie, toffee caramel cupcake and spiced pumpkin and plum tart.

Add extra indulgence with the champagne afternoon tea and for the kids, a Teddy Bear's Picnic afternoon tea adds a playful twist to the tradition, with miniature treats accompanied by a delicious hot chocolate drink.

The discreet Egerton House is known for its classic signature martinis alongside a range of gins, whiskies and specially selected spirits from all over the world. The Egerton House Hotel is a 7-minute walk from Knightsbridge and South Kensington Tube Stations.

Rather a nice experience, cosy in just the right way. Do go here if you're looking for a luxurious afternoon tea in the old traditional manner without the bustle of the Ritz this is the place to go (well, I believe someone forgot the shilling in the christmas pudding - it might have scared off a few tourists, but still). Seems to be an old haunt of Charles M. Schultz.

    Afternoon tea was great!
All wishes (vegetarian option and different teas) were accommodated. Service was attentive, always checking if we were enjoying ourselves or if we needed anything.
The food was delightful and the setting was beautiful.

Had autumn afternoon tea which was delicious. Good range of sandwiches. Bit overpriced but filling.

We came for my Mumma's 65th birthday and what an amazing time we had. Felt like royalty, everybody was so polite, friendly and couldn't do enough for you.. even the waiter was on his knees pouring you tea. Will be back!

We had a lovely time and were really looked after. My Mum and her little dog Coco who both share the same birthday had a wonderful time and we really felt the staff went out of their way to make sure we had a very enjoyable time. The food, service, decor and toilets were super and I can't fault the place. Thanks for having us.
