Dreadful. Been coming here for years, but this would be my last visit. They've decided to start adding a non vegetarian ingredient to a dish that (well, at least I was told by previous waiting staff didn't include the offending ingredient) I usually order. When the dish arrived and I politely explained that I'd be unable to eat it the grubby unkempt looking waiter was extremely rude to me and insisted I should tell staff that I'm vegetarian when ordering..! So do they expect a full dietary requirement list from every customer?! I was ordering vegetarian dishes, so would've sounded like a cretin going on about my vegetarianism. He referred to me as "darling" in a very patronising tone. This is blatant sexism. Not appropriate.
Later on when desserts arrived he patronisingly told me that the ice cream contained milk. I informed him that as a lacto ovo vegetarian I do indeed consume milk. Perhaps being a restaurant they should ensure their staff are aware of the definition and differences between a vegetarian and vegan. With 10% of the uk population being vegetarians and vegans you'd think they would acquaint themselves with such basic information given the nature of their business. I mentioned to a more senior member of staff that the waiter had been rude, and she took £3 off our bill and didn't charge for the desserts. A nice gesture, but I didn't get the impression my complaint about the dippy waiter was going to be escalated. Also, she informed me that the dish had always contained meat, which was disappointing as previous staff had assured me it didn't. Be more veggie friendly, it's 2017! And sack the moron who will only scare off more loyal long term customers.

Restaurant was packed with people getting ready to moon walk.....but staff were calm and polite and food came quite quickly considering the number of people needing serving. The lasagne was excellent ...very tasty . The menu isn't huge but every thing was well cooked. First time I've been ....well worth a visit

Good food, friendly staff, but very noisy and the tables are too close together so the staff and other customers kept bumping into us.

The food (pizza and venison dish) was very good. Rocket and parmesan salad could do with more parmesan. I would have liked a very chilled dry white wine. Staff were excellent, very attentive and smiling. We were served promptly.
The only thing that really spoilt the experience was a group of 4 mothers with their unruly and very noisy children. I work with children all day. There was no need for the unchecked bad behaviour of the 4-5yr olds running up and down the foam covered seating with swords, screaming and shouting.
Then when they left, the children rode on their scooters through the crowded tables. Total disrespect for other customers and the hardworking members of staff. It is obviously a child friendly venue but parents need to keep their children in their seats and be aware. Not the restaurant's fault.
The overall experience was good though, and if in the area again, I would return. Thank you.
