Lovely choice of sandwiches and cakes on the afternoon tea and great you can change your drinks so you don't have to just stick with one type of drink. Peaceful atmosphere. The lady who served us on the day was very friendly and helpful.

There is more than enough food, they were able to cater for my dietary needs of vegetarian and gluten free. Soft drinks and hot drinks are unlimited. Lovely surroundings.

My mum loved her Mother's Day present of afternoon tea at Dunston Hall with me! The location is unique and remarkable. Our waiter Sam was amazing. A little hiccup with our food and he sorted it within a few minutes and brought it back upbeat. He certainly made our trip amusing and he brought a great atmosphere to all the guests! Definitely hope to return one day, food was delicious and I've never tasted traditional breakfast tea like it! Tea leaves you can infuse in your hot water yourself with a little timer for how long you want to brew it for! Loved it. 5 stars.??????????

We had booked in for 3pm on Sunday for a friends birthday. However, we were told that there had been a double booking and we were sat at the bar area until 4. The servers were lovely and that made the whole waiting around a little better. But it also appeared you'd also had ANOTHER double booking and another group had to wait for roughly an hour before being sat down.
We had to send back a champagne glass due to it looking like it hadn't even seen the washing up bowl, lipstick stains and grubby fingerprints on it. The food was average. Your chef was a little too "butter happy" seeing as it was a thick slab of butter pasted into the sandwiches. But the scones and cakes were lovely.
I was slightly disappointed by the experience but we still had a lovely time as a group. The two gentlemen that tended to us at the bar and at the table were lovely but I can't say we'll be coming back in a hurry.

Very disappointed, no welcome when we arrived! Food poor, sandwiches had poor filling, scones were very dry, we had one apple tart cut in half, one macaroon cut in half, the carrot cake and lemon tart were delicious though. Staff were overstretched and therefore the attention we expected was missing! Dunston Hall must do better!

Food was fantastic, service from our server was great although some other staff looked as though they weren't enjoying themselves.
