Inside the majestic 18th century 4-star Oakland Parks Hotel in Surrey, Mulberry Restaurant offers an innovative British menu with Mediterranean flourishes, with views out across the idyllic countryside.

Carefully selected seasonal ingredients are used to prepare the Mulberry Restaurant menu, with classic dishes like French onion soup with gruyere croutons, and roast venison loin with braised chicory, dauphinoise and juniper jus. Vegetarian recipes include Mediterranean favourites such as wild mushroom and truffle oil risotto, while desserts get creative with bold flavours, as seen with the frangipane and morello cherries tart.

Afternoon tea at Mulberry Restaurant Weybridge serves up a selection of finger sandwiches and cakes, with the stunning lawn terrace being a perfect spot for it in the warmer months. There is also a relaxed lounge bar for a casual drink or some lighter bites.

With a popular Sunday carvery also on offer, Mulbery Restaurant is only 5 minutes' drive from Weybridge Rail Station.

The food was excellent (all the dishes that we had); it would be wrong to single out any particular dish! The staff paid us the correct degree of attention & were very helpful as required.

The food and staff serving our afternoon tea were lovely. The room we were in was freezing. It had blow heaters, two to be precise. There was no live music as promised when booked. And on my confirmation email. Manager did not seem to care.

We had a wonderful afternoon tea for my mums birthday, the service was excellent and the food was delicious, we all thoroughly enjoyed the occasion. The waiting staff were very attentive and brought out the clotted cream with a happy birthday message written in chocolate, which was a very thoughtful touch. Thank you for making my mums day as special as she is.

Excellent restaurant. I took my friend and her Dad to celebrate his 90th Birthday. He loved it and the food was great, even for a non meat eater like me! The service was very good, the only disappointment was that I requested a table by a window but we couldn't have that due to there being 3 of us?

booking online was so easy but when i needed to add an extra guest and contacted the hotel to do so , they were rather strange about it .food was good and plenty of it . we were not put in the bulberry restaurant but a small side room which was a shame.

Lovely freindly professional staff. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, modern but in keeping with Oatlands atmosphere. The crockery is delightful, I'd take it home if I could! The tea was served deco on tiered platters; a selection of traditional savoury sandwiches, petit fours and of course the scones with jams and clotted cream. The menu offered a varied selection of teas, champagne and sparkling wines. This was a special occasion for me visiting with my cousin from USA, we shared the same grandmother but my cousin never met her and having visited Oatlands regularly as a child with my grandparents who were visiting my resident great aunt back in the '70s and spending many hours roaming the grounds, corridors and the games room now the fitness suit, and I can say there were moments I became a little spooked!
