Beautiful room, lovely, unintrusive staff and delicious tea. Very good value compared to other London venues.

A regal affair in one of London’s most well-heeled areas, Afternoon Tea at Knightsbridge Hotel presents a classic experience in one of London’s finest 5-star hotels. Take tea next to the crackling open fire, and surrounded by original works of British art.

The Afternoon Tea at Knightsbridge Hotel menu is carefully curated, with a timeless offering lifted with quirky presentation and teaware. Quintessentially British sandwiches such as roast beef and horseradish make up the savoury part of the menu, while a variety of cakes such as Victoria sponge and Battenberg form the sweet half. A special ‘Prince and Princess’ menu has even been put in place for children to enjoy.

Guests can enjoy their Knightsbridge afternoon tea in the bright and airy drawing room, or the more traditional library. A variety of speciality teas and infusions are available to complement the fare, as is a glass of champagne, and mulled wine during winter.

The Knightsbridge Hotel in London is only a short walk away from Harrods and Harvey Nichols, and a 7-minute walk from Knightsbridge Tube Station.

Prior to our booking, I received a call from the hotel re-confirming my booking and inquiring about any dietary requirements or special celebrations on that day.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff and were presently surprised that we had been seated in the Library room, in a little cove by the window and had the entire room to ourselves. The room was beautifully decorated and created a very welcoming and cosy feel. The table layout and china were beautiful, the plates, cups etc all matching in a stunning design. The tea selection, champagne, sandwiches and cakes were all delicious and beautifully presented. We were celebrating two birthdays, so were very pleased when the chef had arranged a special birthday plate with strawberries dipped in chocolate and Happy Birthday written on the plate. All in all, we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend the Knightsbridge Hotel's Afternoon Tea to all.

The room we were given for afternoon tea was comfy and really beautifully designed. The staff were amazing and attended to our needs whenever we needed something.

The knightsbridge hotel was nice but i have had nicer teas. There was not enough sandwiches and the trifle tasted like it was just jam, custard, cream which wasnt very pleasant. We were seated on a settee with a low table which made it quite awkward to eat, i would have preferred to be seated at a proper dining table. The leftover cakes were packaged for us to takeaway but unfortunately were put in badly so all were upside and ruined when we opened the box. Although i'd recommend it, i feel for the price you may get better elsewhere. Although i'd booked a childs afternoon tea, this was not brought, luckily i had kept the emails so child friendly sandwiches were brought out quickly.

This was a gorgeous afternoon tea in a lovely boutique hotel in Knightsbridge. It was small and friendly and we got brilliant service. The afternoon tea was delicious and they did a gluten free option for my mum.
