A regal affair in one of London’s most well-heeled areas, Afternoon Tea at Knightsbridge Hotel presents a classic experience in one of London’s finest 5-star hotels. Take tea next to the crackling open fire, and surrounded by original works of British art.
The Afternoon Tea at Knightsbridge Hotel menu is carefully curated, with a timeless offering lifted with quirky presentation and teaware. Quintessentially British sandwiches such as roast beef and horseradish make up the savoury part of the menu, while a variety of cakes such as Victoria sponge and Battenberg form the sweet half. A special ‘Prince and Princess’ menu has even been put in place for children to enjoy.
Guests can enjoy their Knightsbridge afternoon tea in the bright and airy drawing room, or the more traditional library. A variety of speciality teas and infusions are available to complement the fare, as is a glass of champagne, and mulled wine during winter.
The Knightsbridge Hotel in London is only a short walk away from Harrods and Harvey Nichols, and a 7-minute walk from Knightsbridge Tube Station.

Very strange experience. There are only 2 tables for afternoon tea in what i can only describe as someones living room. It was deadly silence and really quite awkward as we were unable to have a good catch up as everyone in the room could hear everything we were saying, there was not even any music. The staff were not goo either, they didn't show us a menu, they didn't ask us when we would like tea to be served and when we asked for a bottle of wine we were served 2 glasses of wine out of an already open bottle and we were still charged!

Visited previously last year and I thought it was fantastic. This time it was not.
Very slow service with 1 pot of tea to cover the entire afternoon. It took over an hour to recieve any food, by which time our tea was cold. Further hot water is provided but if you request another fresh pot you get charged extra. This didn't happen at my previous visit and it felt mean.
Small portions and ok sandwiches, cakes, nothing special.
I would not visit again.

Lovely hotel. Had a nice time although a couple of things let it down badly. 2 cups missing on table. They bought out our sandwiches etc....no tea. We did come for afternoon tea after all. This came out later. We could not eat all of the cakes so asked for them to be boxed. Lady bought us the boxes over to our table and we had to box them ourselves. Not great customer service for £34.50 PP. Been to many places for afternoon tea and also returned to these other places but unfortunately as nice as the hotel was we will not be returning or recommending Knightsbridge hotel for afternoon tea.

I took my friend to the Knightsbridge Hotel for afternoon tea for her birthday and it was lovely. The staff were friendly, it was in a cosy room and the food was delicious. We were there a long time and didn't feel rushed by staff to free the table. Highly recommend if you want somewhere quiet and cosy for a good old catch up.

I've had tea before and this didn't match my expectations. The room the tea was held in was fairly plain and there was nothing special about the tea itself. One of the scones was even burned on top. The champagne was nice.

A small tea room in a small hotel. But I love the atmosphere. The fireplace is beautiful, food is nice, staff is friendly. Recommend!

The afternoon tea is served in the library or the sitting room. My mother and I had ours in the library. What a beautiful room. We sat at the table in front of the window looking out of Beaufort Gardens - very pretty. We both had the "healthy tea" option (gluten free). The tea overall was great, especially considering how difficult it is to make gluten free sweets. The best were the macaroon and homemade granola bar, and the least favorite the cupcake. I called about 30 minutes prior to our booking time because my mother was late trying to find groceries near our flat on our first day in London, and trying to find her way back. The receptionist was very understanding and immediately accommodated my request to move the booking by 30 minutes. A 4-star rather than 5-star experience only because there was a very rude resident of the hotel in the tea room making a ruckus for part of our tea. Aside from that, if you want a beautiful and comfortable tea that is quiet and private, this is the place! to go!
