Aiming to serve traditional French food to the highest standards, Deja Vu was established in Kensington during June 2008 by Mike Condon, Stephan and Diana Cheung, and Ian McKenzie. Stephan and Ian are both experienced chefs, having spent years running kitchens in London as head chefs. Together, they seek out only the freshest produce to use in their quality dishes, which also feature meat that is mainly sourced from prime French cuts. The menu is changed now and again, but always retains a certain Parisian influence with the chefs' own unique twists. There is also a new restaurant area with a contemporary design and an ambience that echoes the typical French brasserie. Breakfast is served every day of the week, alongside lunch and evening menus, and private parties and functions can be accommodated.
