Darryl’s Wood Fired Grill serves hearty southern-style cuisine with a twist. Diners can watch the spectacular wood-fired grill indoors, or dine al fresco on the heated patio, complete with its own bar.

Diners are left spoilt for choice with the extensive array of steaks and ribs on Darryl’s menu. Sublime cuts are finished on the famous grill, with specialties including a 9-ounce cut of Angus sirloin served with spicy Cajun shrimp. As well as signature southern dishes, Darryl’s Greensboro serves delicately flavoured soups and salads.

The more informal gathering room is housed next to the magnificent fire pits, where diners can enjoy tasty appetisers, drinks, or a tempting dessert. Kids are never sidelined at Darryl’s restaurant, where all children receive a pack filled with goodies, and a jazzy menu designed by 8-year-old Alex.

Serving dishes from the breadth of America, Darryl’s North Carolina offers a warm, friendly setting. Westgate Shopping Center is just 3 minutes’ drive away.

My wife and mother highly recommend the ribs. I had the steak which was was slightly over cooked but still had a delicious flavor. I do believe that all prices were higher than the dish deserved but I would come back in the future.

After booking a table for 7 had to wait to eventually being taken there to find that floor area was covered in debris from last customer. Did mention to server however nothing was done. Waitress came took drinks order which took over 15 minutes to be served
Food average and service poor I did leave a large tip which I now regret. Having visited here before we won't be back

We made reservations with this service - once we arrived we were told that the don't honor bookatabke service. I suggested that the remove their name from the listing. Instead of the twenty minute wait - we were immediately sat within the bar area - near the traffic flow. Our portions were large, food lukewarm but tasted good. I had the prime rib with a potato. My friend had spare ribs, chicken strip and shrimp. The flavor was good, the strip large and the ribs were average. We'd return but not because we purposely decided - it's more of a if were in the area, we'd consider it.

I booked my reservation online which was very easy. Seating was relatively quick. I ordered the ribs and chicken tenders platter. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone good and the tenders were huge and perfect. My finance ordered the ribeye platter. Her steak was burnt on one side. The steak was presented on the plate with the burnt side down. I guess they wanted to hide the burnt. Additionally, both of our baked potatoes were only slightly warm. Not even warm enough to melt the butter. We pointed this out to the wait staff but stated that we were ok with it since we didn't want to wait for another. The wait staff was very friendly and very prompt in his service. We were seated on the highest level in one of the "jail cells". It was very seculed and quiet. There are 3 different seating levels so I would suggest that if you have issues with stairs then request a ground floor table.
