Serving flavour-packed European dishes, Daniel’s Bistro Moseley is a relaxed but stylish restaurant. Its succulent steaks and hearty Sunday lunches are also firm favourites, all topped off by irresistible desserts.

Rich starters on the Daniel’s Bistro menu include black pudding with chorizo, potato and poached egg, confit of Gressingham duck with pineapple sauce, and sweet chilli king prawns with asparagus salad. Served with market vegetables, main dishes blend the classic with the creative. Discover the slow-cooked pork shoulder with pancetta, honey and ginger sauce, pan-fried sea bass fillet with baby spinach and coconut almond sauce, or blade of Scottish beef with mushrooms, caramelised onions and Madeira. Alternatively, try one of Daniel’s steak cuts, all from 28-day aged scotch beef and served with homemade chips and a choice of sauces.

Desserts at Daniel’s Bistro in Birmingham are every bit as tempting. Sample the peanut butter cheesecake with caramel ice cream, apricot and pistachio tart, or stewed rhubarb and passion fruit parcel.

In the heart of Moseley, Daniel’s is a 10-minute drive from central Birmingham.

My third trip to this restaurant and food was as good as always, great value and friendly service.

Inexperienced waitress who kept saying I'll find out for you after every question and couldn't work the pepper mill which was faulty. Cheap cutlery, glasses, and furniture. Waited 20minutes after arrival to receive the glass of prosecco which was promised on arrival. Asked for a bottle of red wine from the wine list, but they didn't have it. Ordered beef tails which were awful, no green vegetables and poor potatoes. Apricot crumble hardly had any apricots in it and the custard was cold. Food quality, service and the whole experience was extremely poor, will not be visiting again. The website portrays a decent restaurant which it is not!

We had a lovely meal and will be eating there again. The beef tails were lovely. It was a shame there were so few diners but was a Wednesday evening.

Nicely hidden away in Moseley, small and cosy. Food was fantastic not I really busy so nice to relax and have a good conversation.
Lamb was delicious and cheese and biscuits lovely.
Parking a little bit of a nightmare however just round corner little public car park free after 6pm.
Only slight disappointment only sold bottled Carlsberg for options for beer.
Apart from that absolutely perfect and well recommended.
Waiter and customer service fab, waited a little while for food between courses but that's all.

Everything from service to food was perfect. The food is excellently presented and full of flavour. I shall return.

I dined at Daniels Bistro for the first time last night. The food was excellent, fresh and very tasty. I had the salmon and prawns for starter and my fiancé had the goats cheese in filo pastry. Both were delicious. For main we both had tails of fillet beef in peppercorn sauce. For desert we shared the peanut butter cheese cake, it was to die for!

We both had a lovely evening with great food and excellent service. We will be visiting again!

Really good tasty home cooled food. Worth waiting for. Best chips and peanut butter cheesecake ever!! Only downside is the waiter is not very cheery. They were really good with holding my table for me due to unforseen circumstances.
