Serving flavour-packed European dishes, Daniel’s Bistro Moseley is a relaxed but stylish restaurant. Its succulent steaks and hearty Sunday lunches are also firm favourites, all topped off by irresistible desserts.

Rich starters on the Daniel’s Bistro menu include black pudding with chorizo, potato and poached egg, confit of Gressingham duck with pineapple sauce, and sweet chilli king prawns with asparagus salad. Served with market vegetables, main dishes blend the classic with the creative. Discover the slow-cooked pork shoulder with pancetta, honey and ginger sauce, pan-fried sea bass fillet with baby spinach and coconut almond sauce, or blade of Scottish beef with mushrooms, caramelised onions and Madeira. Alternatively, try one of Daniel’s steak cuts, all from 28-day aged scotch beef and served with homemade chips and a choice of sauces.

Desserts at Daniel’s Bistro in Birmingham are every bit as tempting. Sample the peanut butter cheesecake with caramel ice cream, apricot and pistachio tart, or stewed rhubarb and passion fruit parcel.

In the heart of Moseley, Daniel’s is a 10-minute drive from central Birmingham.

Service was slow, very slow. The waiter's were friendly and the food was decent. Portions were of a good size.

A joint birthday celebration for my friend and I
Although it was exceptionally quiet due to the time of year the experience was as perfect as before...
You will not get this quality of food for this price anywhere in Birmingham.
The prawn on Kale starter was amazing, as was the lamb main....
And as for the date and apple crumble....AMAZING.
    The service is fantastic.
    I love this place...

We were a family group of 8 with ages ranging from 21-81. Meal was unhurried so a relaxed evening with plenty of time for conversation. Food was lovely and portion sizes sensible. Service was excellent.

Food was very nice - service a bit haphazard although this was probably due to the booking not being in place as it should have been (see below).

Quality of food was good. Staff and service were excellent. Small but that's a plus. It's a nice place for couples and small groups.

Absolutely perfect - such a warm welcome from the staff! Menu was varied - delicious flavours complemented each other, choice of presseco given, atmosphere was great. A lovely evening just right for catching up with friends and loved ones.

A great neighbourhood bistro with high quality, but not pretentious, food. Ham hock and mushroom terrine really tasty and well seasoned, plaice with chive sauce delicious, hadn't had those flavours before. Tasty buttery veg and peppered potatoes made it a good meal all round. Apricot crumble with homemade custard light and fruity. Glass of prosecco on arrival went down well. Pleasure to meet Daniel, we even learnt a few recipes. Can't believe we'd never eaten here before! We'll be back. A restaurant to be proud of in Moseley.

Lovely small restaurant. The amous bouche was a lovely surprise, main courses were delicious. Desserts could have been better but overall a lovely meal with excellent service.
