My Mum and I came here for lunch for her birthday after I had heard lovely things about Danesfield from friend. Settings and food were lovely and the service was fantastic. Lovely friendly, professional staff from the second we entered.

I was a little disappointed that the table wasn't ready for are aftetnoon tea ,also we was sat as the smallest table in the restaurantand as you know with a afternoon tea we had lots of a complements so this made it very cramp. .All other tables were emteyapart from one .The service was very good .we also enjoyed tea and the special little touch on cakes for my daughters 21st birthday .

Somewhat disappointing quality of food overall. The sandwiches particularly were very lacklustre, not enough filling and not very interesting. However the scones were light and delicious, excellent quality.

I brought an elderly friend. She has a blue badge as she finds walking difficult. Your disabled parking is a long way from the main entrance, resulting in quite a long from the car park.
The service was excellent. Food was average plus. Tea cakes were explained to us but sandwiches not. I admit it was a Freezing day but the room temperature was decidedly chilly.
