A charming neighbourhood favourite since 1990, Da Paolo brings flavoursome Italian dishes in a traditional and cosy dining room. Sip on a wine from the huge list in the pretty al fresco pavement area.

Truly Italian cuisine is available at Da Paolo restaurant, with pasta, meat and fish dishes proving ever popular. Pan-fried and juicy king prawns come cooked in chilli, white wine and garlic alongside flavoursome saffron rice. Alternatively, the Da Paolo menu features veal escalope with shallots and tarragon, dramatically flamed in brandy sauce and drizzled with cream. Indulgent desserts include the stunning warm chocolate cake with fudge sauce and chunks of chocolate brownie.

Enjoy an elegant wine from the extensive list, surrounded by Tuscan-orange walls dotted with framed black and white photos. Red roses deck the tables at Da Paolo in Goodge Street, while plush red banquette seats exude sophistication.

Offering a wonderfully authentic, family-run vibe, Da Paolo is a favourite independent Italian restaurant in London. Goodge Street Tube Station is a 4-minute walk away.

Tucked away in a tiny pedestrian street, small , cozy, friendly staff, interesting decor, good food. 4 tables out front to sit and chill before dinner , or meet friends outside. European feel. I would recommend it and will go back.

A wonderful family style restaurant run with panache and style. My family of seven dined for our annual pre-christmas theatre meal. The service was friendly and solicitous, the food superb and plenty of it. We were all given panettones as a present afterwards which was a lovely touch. The pastas were all delicious but especially the lobster linguine and the veal scaloppine was the size of a sleigh but tender and cooked to perfection. My children all loved it, the friendly atmosphere, good humour and delicious cooking.
