The food was excellent, good old sausage and mash with gravy, the restaurant was a bit draughty though.

In the vibrant centre of the old Covent Garden Market, Crusting Pipe Wine Bar presents a full grill menu of wholesome and hearty British dishes. A cellar-style wine bar, Crusting Pipe has outdoor seating, and serves vintage Port and fine wines.

Live performances of classical music, opera and dance take place in the Covent Garden courtyard throughout the year. Rustic and welcoming, Crusting Pipe has a sense of theatre and traditional English charm.

Showcasing a predominantly British menu, Crusting Pipe London has signature dishes like bangers and mash with Madeira and onion gravy, pan-fried cod wrapped in pancetta, and wild mushroom risotto with Portobello mushroom. The dessert menu boasts sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce and Roddas Cornish clotted cream. There is even an impressive range of speciality cheeses such as Stinking Bishop.

A cosy candlelit restaurant, Crusting Pipe Wine Bar is just a 2-minute stroll from Covent Garden Tube Station.

It's our 4th time dining here and certainly the last. Service was outwardly rude and challenged us on our orders, insisting we ordered items we didn't. His eye roll was far too obnoxious. The ceasar salad could fill a bird's stomach.

Very poor service, disappointing as I have used the restaurant many times before.

The afternoon tea was tasty but for the price I thought it was small in volume and the venue was very cold and did not feel very warm and cozy as just seated amongst normal diners

I took 4 Australians to your restaurant on Saturday lunchtime - the customer service was excellent I had only booked for 4 and turned up with 5 and it was no problem very accommodating.
We had the Mix and mash and it was amazing, wonderful taste, great presentation and varied choices all sampled and enjoyed
The beer alongside ( Curious Brew) was loved by Australians and English alike
A winner in every way - especially with classical music outside

Terrible experience. Service very slow. Restaurant so cold we had to keep our coats on. Food good when it finally came.

Excellent location. Had a meal here prior to going to the theatre Food was exemplary and the service was second to none. If in Covent Garden would thoroughly recommend. just one thing I would have liked wawould be to sit in the courtyard after the meal to watch the various shows but in all credit it was very busy especially being so close to Christmas.
