I booked a table for 4 to celebrate my brothers birthday, the Restaurant Décor was very nice, however we were served by inexperienced staff.
The waitress was not familiar with the Menu and wine list .After we manage to order our meals the wrong wine was delivered and the waiter seem to be confused, When we had the right wine we had no glasses and when he return with them he dropped them. The salad on my meal was no more than leftover lettuce ,chunks of cucumber tomato and one overall a poor disappointing birthday meal for us.

Food was good both quality and portion size. Really enjoyed the jam Roly poly. Service was a bit hit and miss. Polite but hard to get attention.

Good food - we had a variety between us - rotisserie chicken, pie and curry all fine but the kids meal (fish fingers and mash) not so good. Potato grey and fish fingers over cooked - granddaughter didn't like so had a bit of everyone else's!

The staff were very accommodating when we asked to change our booking from 6 people 8, we were shown to a suitable table and we sat down with the drinks we had previously purchased at the bar. We then perused the menus and decided what we would like to eat - we had a very pleasant waitress, she was most helpful. Our meals arrived and were very well presented, my steak was cooked exactly as I had asked it to be, unfortunately the meal was not very warm although not cold - I was hungry so ate what I had, no one else at the table said anything about their meals being cool. We had all decided to have a dessert and again no one had any complaints other than I had asked for custard and received ice cream on my otherwise hot pudding. Essentially there was nothing wrong on the whole with our meals, the cost was reasonable too, However, earlier my partner and 2 of her friends asked for a hot chocolate - on a previous visit they had been delicious - this time however they failed miserably - they were given cardboard cups, they were only half full with no milk in - no offer of cream or marshmallows a previous trademark of their hot chocolates - they were told the milk was at the end of the counter, which it was in big glass jug, it was not covered, the end of the counter was dirty with spillage from other people's drinks, considering the cost of these drinks at £2.40 each they were grossly over priced.
