Having visited Fire and Stone many times in the past, we were looking forwards to a booked Christmas menu meal for 4 between shows on Sunday December 4th. We arrived at 4 pm and were seated quickly and ordered. The restaurant was not busy.
We waited over 35 minutes to then be given the drinks we had ordered. We received starters 55 minutes after ordering . The main courses never arrived by 5.25 pm , when we were forced to just give up and leave.
The manger was apologetic and did not charge us for what we had received but we were very disappointed by the terrible service and will not be returning to Fire and Stone in the future.

I had come for dinner with my friends in between two theatre shows, we were seated promptly and the food came within 20 minutes. The food was absolutely lovely, I had the Cairo pizza. Our server Simone was also a delight, she made the experience all the more enjoyable, thank you.

Bit of a pallarva at the front desk as usual, I had an employee call to confirm my booking in the afternoon but when we arrived at the time of our booking, there was a huge queue to talk to the host and a wait to be seated. We didn't sit down until 6.30 when our booking was at 6.15.
Food is good as usual, I was using my birthday voucher so I got my pizza free.
I love fire and stone as it always has good deals and vouchers.

Overall the food and service was ok. What I wasn't happy about at all though was that when we asked if we could have the pre-theatre menu, not an unreasonable request you would think when the restaurant is in Covent Garden. We were told that we have to inform the restaurant when we booked our table - how ridiculous. The only reason I can think that this policy is applies is because the restaurant doesn't make as much money. Also what if I has walked in off the street and didn't have the opportunity to book the pre-theatre menu? I have used this restaurant 4 times this year but wont be using it again.
