Cote occupies an ideal location for a pre or post-theatre meal. Surrounded by The Lyceum, Theatre Royal, Fortune Theatre, Novello Theatre and the Aldwych Theatre, Cote is also within walking distance of The Strand and only two minutes on foot from Covent Garden tube station. With Wi-Fi internet access available throughout, Cote is also a great choice for working lunches in a friendly atmosphere.
Influenced by the typical Parisian bistros, Cote's menu offers a contemporary take on classic French dishes. Seasonal specialities include corn fed chicken from Languidic, steak frites and moules marinieres.

Our waitress was full of attitude, coming across as extremely rude. Our main course arrived almost cold and the dessert, that made NO MENTION OF CINNAMON on the menu, was so strongly flavoured with cinnamon that the apples were actually dark brown. Our meal was uneatable. However, in the restaurant's defence, the manager did offer to make us something else but as this was a pre-theatre meal we really didn't have time to wait. A disappointing birthday meal

We booked a table for 5 to celebrate my Aunts 90th birthday! We all, especially she, had a wonderful evening. We were extremely well looked after and the food was great. The waiting staff were attentive and made the evening for my Aunt, flattering her and even serenaded her with 'Happy Birthday' !
We were offered and accepted a free round of drinks on the house to celebrate.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening and we all felt everyone at Cote Bistro welcomed us and went out of their way to enable us to celebrate in style, comfort and frivolity.

I get fed up when I book a table and stuck in a corner or a cellar. I have been to 6 Cotes at least 20 times. This has happened in St Martins Lane and Tavistock St and Sloane Sq

I dined with some ladies at lunchtime and received a very warm welcome; the staff were friendly and attentative, with a choice of menu to suit most appetites and excellent wine options. Also ideal position for Covent Garden and Theatreland.Have recommended to my colleagues and am looking forward to my next visit.

Lunch. Food was very good - Cote standard. It was a bit drafty and the interior was somewhat shabbier than other Cote restaurants I've been to.

Arrived a little early for our evening meal on a Saturday in December. The place was packed and our table wasn't ready. The staff apologised for the delay in seating us but within minutes of our arrival a table was vacated and with remarkable speed it was cleared and set up for us. We were seated before our agreed booking time and the speedy friendly service continued throughout the meal. Very attentive waiting staff, great atmosphere, delicious food and great value.

We had a pre-theatre Sunday lunch. Service was prompt but not rushed, professional and friendly. The food was good, although the risotto was a little bland. The atmosphere was relaxed and authentically french. Great value for money and so convenient for the theatre. It made the whole London theatre very pleasant and relaxed. I would definately recommend it.
