The food was great. The atmosphere was excellent. The service received at dinner was good but not when we went outside for tea/coffee. The waiter took really long to serve despite there being no rush of people. As a result the tea went really cold by the time milk was brought. I felt some of the staff for some reason stared at us a lot. Don't know if it was because we were wearing headscarf or something else.
Given that there is a service charge of 12%, we would have appreciated if it was lived up to as well. We came in happy but left a little disappointed!

I have to say the food is overpriced for a vegetarian, I opted for set menu but still spent nearly 60 quid (had one glass of wine and one G&T) and not that great either. but the service and the location is very good - the fake flowers were slightly naff, and the music too loud in the bar area. not quite sure who your intended audience is but I think the lovely roof drinking space is not helped by the music. The garden wasn't very clearly marked - but I know there have been a number of suicides there!!

A memorable and enjoyable birthday lunch! Amazing food, wine and cocktails. Friendly and helpful staff. Great service and made us feel special. Would definitely recommend the restaurant to others, especially on a Saturday when it is relatively quiet.

Perfect evening, wonderful food and attentive staff.
Expensive but this is no ordinary restaurant if you want to impress your date.
I booked online on Wednesday for Friday evening and there were plenty of free slots.
When we arrived it wasn't full and it remained the same all evening so we were never felt like we had to rush our food.
We both had the 3 course set menu which is excellent value for money and I was offered the chefs special apple. A very good choice if you love handmade desserts!
Next time we will visit the roof garden when it's warmer.
