Food of good quality if not exceptional, excellent wine list. Bacchus is highly recommended. Everything cooked well but ingredients not of highest quality - get what you pay for.

Restaurant itself is well done, a nice to have a Pianist play whilst eating, although decor is showing signs of wear.

Lovely restaurant tucked away at the top of the high street so didn't know it existed. On arrival we had a choice of tables so sat in a cosy booth. Menu was perfect as not too big a choice. Cod loin for main was delicious. Great decor and would definitely go back just wished I had known about this restaurant before, found it on trip advisor

Brilliant meal with friends last night. Three course Set menu with glass of prosecco was fantastic value with choices to suit everyone from smoked salmon starters to trout, fish cakes, chicken, burger and more for mains and choice of four yummy desserts! Beautifully presented food, tasted just as good as it looked! Lovely decor and attentive manager. A bit quiet but it was a warm Wednesday night during school holidays. I've been on a Saturday and it's been fully booked! Would definitely visit again!! Can't fault anything!

Very enjoyable if noisy restaurant. We were unable to hear the pianist from the centre of the restaurant. Service was welcoming and attentive. My liver and bacon was good, more than our daughter could eat, but my wife's chicken dish was little more than slices of chicken with a few leafs would have benefited with a contrast, potatoes perhaps.

Service was the best we have received for a long time, attentive and polite. Food was fresh, and beautifully displayed.

I booked for my friend's birthday and we had a great time. I like the idea of a former police station and the decor was pleasant. Good choices on the menu and an excellent-value set menu. The service was great , and our waitress was lovely. Very good value overall, and we came away thinking we had had a brilliant experience. I will definitely be back, including for the Jazz evening.
