Six of us were celebrating a birthday of one of us, we found the room a little bit too warm but that was the only niggle the food was gorgeous and had the best selection of cakes we've ever eaten at an afternoon tea ( the cream slices are to die for ) . The two young ladies who served us were lovely very friendly and welcoming

We had a lovely time! It would be nice if we could have chosen the sandwiches we had as my friend did not like the beef with sauce, we both liked the tuna. The scones were lovely. The staff were excellent very friendly but left us alone to enjoy our tea. Came and asked us if everything was alright and brought tea and coffee when asked.

We had afternoon tea at the restaurant. The service was excellent. Staff were helpful, polite and attentive.
Our table was waiting for us by a window, dressed with white table cloth.
Food was of high standard and plentiful. Presented on a nice tired stand. A fantastic selection of sandwiches, with very nice fillings. Cakes were a varied selection and also plenty of them.
We were offered a selection of hot drinks with refills.
Overall very good experience. I would recommend.

Booked an afternoon tea on-line very easy to use service, from when we arrived was very impressed was warmly greeted and made to feel very welcome and we were seated straight away, the service we received was as good at the beginning as at the end, we mentioned that we were there celebrating a 21st birthday and near the end the staff brought in a lovely cake with a candle and sung happy birthday a beautiful gesture and very much appreciated would definitely recommend to go here

the service and the food was excellent the staff asked as if we would like any food replenished and were very accommodating would recommend afternoon tea hear very good value for me.The only thing that I did not like is that the service charge was added to the bill this is something I do not agree with as I would prefer to tip the service staff myself so I now they receive it themselves.

Was disappointed with the afternoon tea overall. Stained milk jug, average sandwiches. No smoked salmon which surely is a feature of bafternoon tea! Dry scones that crumbled like dust and not enough cream and jam for two people! Can't fault waiting staff, they were helpful. Unfortunately the afternoon tea experience did not live up to expectations.
