Winning several awards within just a year of opening, including the Guild of Fine Foods Taste of Gold Award 2013 and 2014, Cocoa Cabana Chocolatiers in Didsbury serves a rich selection of handmade chocolates and sweet treats in its quaint tea room setting. Exquisite salted caramels and more can be bought for later from the on-site shop, while the café offers indulgent snacks and chocolate afternoon teas.

Run by Sarah Gallacher, who trained at the renowned Slattery’s Pattisier and Chocolatier, Cocoa Cabana in Manchester mixes traditional and experimental flavours in its truffles, chocolate shards and slabs, which come encrusted with berries, nuts and fudge pieces. The legendary gooey brownies are a favourite amongst returning customers, while divine chocolate cakes are handmade to order, and can be sampled by the slice.

These sugary delights can all be enjoyed in the Cocoa Cabana tea room, which comes with bright, floral china and is charmingly furnished with wildlife-patterned wallpaper. Guests can treat themselves to brownies, macaroons and speciality chocolate bars, each of which is complemented by the selection of fine coffees on offer.

A must-visit for chocoholics, Cocoa Cabana Chocolatiers in Manchester is just a 2-minute walk from Burton Road tram station

Delicious choice of hot drinks but felt I was just in a normal coffee shop that stuck two tables in front of there window having a chocolate afternoon tea while people coming and going with takeaways !

Lovely cosy little place. Best chocolate products tasted in a while! Delicious scones with salted caramel and macarons were fabulous. Service was spot on too. Lovely atmosphere.

Delicious afternoon tea in this exquisite tiny cafe. Lovely staff. Only downside is that it's not suitable for anyone with peanut allergy as they use peanut butter in the cafe and there is risk of cross contamination in the kitchen.

Me and my boyfriend came here for afternoon tea on my birthday!

Cocoa Cabana was the perfect birthday treat for my wife who is pregnant so can't hit the booze and can't stomach many foods at the moment (with the exception of chocolate conveniently)! The setting itself is great, there are literally 2 tables inside the shop and 2 or 3 outside, but this is Manchester so when do we really get the weather to dine al fresco? The service was great, the food even better! Great value for money, well worth a visit!

Lovely service and afternoon tea was divine. We couldn't quite finish it so ended up with a doggy bag.

Had afternoon tea which was delicious and bought some chocolates to take home. An informal, enjoyable experience.
