Very pleasant place to have dinner and a chat with friends. Food is very good. Service is dependent on who you get-most of the staff are very good. The place is a little dated in terms of décor and food offered so could do with someone with a bit of creative flair to update surroundings and menu. Thankfully this is an adults only place and long may it remain so

It was okay. Think some of the chairs could do with some attention, mine had loose legs, the menu is not as good as it used to be but food was edible.

The food could not be faulted it was excellent, the staff were very attentive, very pleasant surrounding. The only negatives are that our table was booked for 1.30 and it took 45mins. For our food to arrive and also I was charged for 2 drinks that I didn't have.

Very good food. When large groups are being catered for the kitchen needs to be mindful of the wait this can cause to other customers waiting for their food. We waited approx. 45 minutes for our main course after I had had my starter. The waiter did apologise. Clarice House is, thankfully, an adults only place- long may it be so- as a result not recommended for families with young children (this is a huge plus for me)

Not been here for a while. Very disappointed. Food poor, very small portions eg. Four very soggy courgette chips. Service was awful.
