This was my first visit to Ciao Italia and it will not be my last. Thank goodness we had booked a table, it was very busy - it was Saturday 6 pm after all. The staff was courteous and attentive and the time it took for our meal to arrive was very acceptable. Everything seemed to run very smoothly. The meal was excellent, I had the mushroom and Gorgonzola risotto, which was really yummy. My companion was equally impressed with her meal.

Seamless booking online including an amendment to number of diners. Favourite dishes were mussels with tomato and garlic, seafood ravioli. I couldn't print off 15% discount voucher due to home printer not working but restaurant honoured discount which was wonderful. All of my guests loved their food and the service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and our waiter made some recommendations on our orders which we took and were not disappointed. This was a return trip following my first time visit on 17 Dec with another friend. Ciao Italia now my favourite Italian restaurant, no need to visit edinburgh for good quality Italian food as it now resides in dunfermline, highly recommended.
