After 25 years in Chelsea, critically acclaimed Chutney Mary brings its exciting brand of Indian cuisine to St James’s Street. Alongside the mix of authentic Indian design and contemporary style in the dining room, The Pukka Bar serves up exotic cocktails, craft beers and a host of artisanal gins.
Using only the finest ingredients, the Chutney Mary menu reflects the diverse styles of India’s regions. Beautifully presented dishes include tandoori lobster, duck salad with tamarind glaze, and Hyderabadi lamb shank cooked for 6 hours. Elsewhere on the menu, find flavour-rich Indian street food, and a tasting platter of regional speciality curries.
The Pukka Bar at Chutney Mary St James’s Street features a stone and leather bar, as well as stunning furnishings and bespoke artwork that blend traditional Indian style with contemporary St James’s chic.
Find Chutney Mary London in one of the capital’s most well-heeled areas. Buckingham Palace and St James’s Park are a stone’s throw away, with Green Park Tube Station a 5-minute walk from the restaurant.

First time visit and not our last.
Excellent and 'refreshingly expensive' - maybe a little too expensive !!

Business lunch menu looked unexciting (fair enough). A la carte would have benefitted from some more extensive notes on dishes - for general info as well as a guide. Noisy family foursome put alongside us -irritating for a business lunch; would have been intrusive for a more romantic engagement.

The food was good. Wait staff need to be a tad more attentive. Overall experience was good. Thanks.

Almost perfect but too noisy. I prefered your last address on king's road

Delicious saffron martini to start
Most excellent gourmet tasting menu, the foi gras with dates was other worldly, lobster in chili sauce, amazingly tasty combination of green chicken curry and lamb curry leaves you yearning more. Calming cauliflower / potato lentil stew not as fab as the curry but satisfying. This was a great dining experience now on my top 5 list of London Indian restaurants along with favs Gymkana and Vereeswamy
