Within a magnificent building overlooking Waterloo Bridge, Christopher’s serves sumptuous American cuisine. With the gaming tables still present in this former casino, Christopher's also offers a chic, buzzing martini bar.
In a lavish yet comfortable setting in Covent Garden, the Christopher’s menu presents an inventive range filled with rich, enticing flavours. Famed for its succulent grills and seafood, the Christopher’s American grill offers a beautifully lean fillet steak served with fried fresh oysters which is a firm favourite, as well as creamy wild mushroom linguine, or free range chicken with goats cheese and roast figs.
With sleek furnishings and subdued lighting, the martini bar at Christopher’s London offers a unique, contemporary ambience. Great for a refreshing burst of flavour, exciting creations include the elderflower mojito and the trendy Vespa-inspired mix, or diners can always try their hand at cocktail making in a martini masterclass.
In an opulent, historic setting, Christopher’s restaurant is just 5 minutes’ walk from Covent Garden Tube Station.

We had Sunday brunch. The welcome was polite but not very warm. In general the food was excellent but we were given stale bread and told it was all like that because bread deliveries weren't made at week-ends. That is an unbelievable excuse. The service was done pleasantly but rather unprofessionally. This restaurant needs re-decorating inside and out, better management and staff-training and fresh bread then it would be wonderful.

We ordered from the pre-theatre menu, good choice but the main meal comes as meat/fish only so does become a little more expensive when you order side dishes, which you do need in order to make it a meal. This could be made a little clearer on the web-site advertising as a pre-theatre dinner advertised at [$] for two courses, [$] for two people, became a meal for [$] for two people. However, the food was excellent and well worth the money.

We dined using the Pre theatre dinner menu. There was ample choice and we were more than satisfied with every aspect of the meal.

Dined at 20:00 on 23rd December. Admittedly, not many guests but the staff treated us with warmth and attentiveness. We felt like we had our own personal team, working to make our experience wonderful!
