Blending modern innovations with French classicism, Chloe's Restaurant epitomises a cosy French café-style restaurant, with truly eclectic and exquisite French cuisine. Dine against the musical backdrop of the elegant baby grand piano.

Chloe's Restaurant menu features delicacies like the traditional French trilogy with frog’s legs, foie gras and escargots alongside rustic regional French specialities like roasted French rabbit leg with a creamy mustard sauce. The expert French chef creates sublime indulgences with fresh, local produce.

Innovative desserts include Chloe's homemade zesty lemon tart with raspberry foam shot or rich chocolate mousse with salted caramel foam. A decadent lobster and champagne menu is also available, alongside a superb wine list of organic, biodynamic and vintage bottles.

Friendly and cosy, Chloe's Restaurant Plymouth is run by an excellent husband and wife team, and has an elegant dining room, popular for pre-theatre dining. Theatre Royal is a 3-minute walk away and ample parking is found nearby.

A number of our party dined from the pre-theatre menu with the rest taking the a-la-carte. As usual the food was excellent and overall good value for money. The restaurant was full on a Tuesday evening and as a result the service was slower than normal but this did not impact on our experience. This remains our favourite restaurant in Plymouth and the surrounding area.

Tasty scallop starter well presented. However the two main meals we had were quite salty and not as good value for money. Waitresses very sweet and polite.

Excellent food and drinks menus, food delicious and beautifully presented. Perfectly served by competent staff who are attentive but not intrusive. Intimate and comfortable surroundings. Also not expensive considering the overall quality of the experience. All in all a terrific evening, leaving us feeling very special. Will definitely go there again and recommend to others.
