With great views of the sea, Chiquito Southport provides good value Mexican cuisine in vibrant surroundings. Next door to the Vue Cinema, Chiquito is perfect for a pre or post-movie meal and is also just a 10-minute walk from Southport Theatre.

Packed with authentic dishes from both sides of the border, the Chiquito menu captures the essence of all things Tex Mex. Start the fiesta with fully-loaded nachos or the soft taco sharer between a few amigos, before sampling the famous fajitas and burritos, or a classic chilli con carne. A take on the traditional Mexican market, the street food section of the menu features sweet chorizo croquettes, patatas bravas, and a flavour-packed Mexican frittata.

Family-friendly entertainment and a fun kids' menu evokes a vibrant atmosphere at Chiquito restaurant. From the bar, a colourful selection of cocktails, mocktails and tequilas will add a kick to any meal, whilst an extensive range of wines and beers are also on offer.

With plenty of on-site parking, Southport Chiquito is only a 3-minute drive from Splash World and Southport Pleasureland.

Although i booked a table, they had no record of it when i arrived. Fortunately there were tables available.
    Food and service both excellent
There was a lot of food/bits on the floor which was not cleaned up.
Even with a 20% discount it was a rather expensive meal

Food was okay. Drinks didn't arrive Til 30 minutes after ordering and food didn't arrive after over an hour. Ordered dessert and churros tasted very salty and disgusting. Won't be back!

Foidwas lovely. manageress was very abrupt and no pearsonality could have been shortage of staff as was quite busy. Waitress and bar girl where lovely and has a smile instead of a growl.

Been to this place a few times and the service is always good as is the food. They have a fairly large gluten free menu and they had two gluten free beers which is a first!

The menu has recently been overhauled and new dishes added which is great! I really like the street foods as you can try 3 or 6 smaller portions to get some variety.

    Prices are also very reasonable

There is a very big free car park but as there is a cinema and bowling alley on the same complex this can get quite full particularly at the weekend. There is 4 or 5 hour time limit also on the parking

Great service. Wonderful food. A better choice of deserts would be good i.e. indulgent ones : chocolate fudge cake or carrot cake. But over all great place to eat x x

Left biggest part of my meal, service really slow even though restaurant was quite. And perhaps someone can please tell me what has popcorn got to do with Mexico, I can't stand the smell of it but you don't get offered any tortillas and dips which are a Mexican starter. Not value for money portions are very small for the price you pay which is not cheap
