The restaurant was very busy all evening so would recommend booking. We visited Manchester in January 16 this restaurant was fully booked and we struggled to find somewhere to eat on the Saturday night so this year we booked ahead. We weren't disappointed the food ans service was excellent

Great atmosphere and decor....staff were brilliant and never stopped....toilets very clean which often gets overlooked....but most of all the food was superb and the price is right....havent been to Chiquitos for a few years as the one near me in Bury closed down, but this visit has re-inspired me to travel to one....Well done..dont change anything...

The food was very small portions, staff were not so friendly seemed as though they wanted to rush you in and out. Also when the food was delivered the waitress didn't give us knives and forks, we had to wait ten minutes by then the food had gone quite cold.

When we asked for the bill we asked a waitress if there was MOD discount and she said no only student discount. We then asked another member of staff and they said yes so we got the discount eventually.

Just a little unorganised and staff could be more helpful/knowledgeable and find things out before saying just no because they cant be bothered to find out.

It is well worth booking as it was very busy, even as early as 5.30. The staff were friendly and efficient, despite being rushed off their feet. The food was of variable quality. My sister's nachos were lovely, plenty of jalapeño and soured cream. I opted for the pina colada prawns which should have been very good, lovely dressing, but were, quite frankly, burnt. We were rushing to the Arena or I would have requested replacements. We ordered 3 small dishes, tapas style, to share as our main. We'd had a large lunch and it was a good job we had, the dishes were extremely minimal and although very tasty, not particularly good value at £12.95. I would recommend for atmosphere but not for food, unless the quality was better at less busy times.
