Very good food and great views. The restaurant is in Debenhams department store so I would recommend it for lunch.

Excellent food and service, shame you get kicked out at 8 as the store closes

It was lovely the food was presented really well, had a nice choice off the special offer menu, the staff we very attentive maybe a bit to whilst eating our starters to be asked if it was okay to bring out our mains, this was a bit off putting as there weren't many diners in? Anyway the food was very tasty I would go again even though we were charged £4.50 for a discretionary service. Yeah I paid it even though it was discretionary as the way it shows on the bill it's not really a choice?. But would visit again as the food and staff were lovely.

From the Sushi taster at the door to the dessert our lunch for my Fiancée's birthday yesterday 23rd July was sublime.never experienced this type of Asian presentation of lovely , aromatic but delicate flavours. Katsu curry with tempura vegetables was my choice and fiancée had chilli n lime sea bass which were both lovely. I'm not a vegetarian but enjoyed this with delicate Jasmine rice. Egg noodles were tasty and lightly fried.
Dessert of mango cheesecake was so light and fluffy it could have been a mango mousse based cheesecake.
Starters of prawn spring roll and duck sashimi were excellent.
Staff were so attentive but NOT annoyingly so.
Service was so smooth and flowed freely but was not rushed.
Coconut bubble tea was new experience but not a bad one, just strange.
Over all as a first time taste of this lovely restaurant we shall go back again and would HIGHLY recommend.
Well done all at the Chi kitchen Birmingham.

The restaurant has a nice location and good food on the menu. This was my second visit, and I was sad to note that it (yet again) wasn't very busy.
On arrival we were attended to by Amber, who was delightful and understands fully, customer service; it is a shame that her shift finished before we completed our meal, as I wanted to thank her personally.
The food was tasty and hot, and our main arrived at a reasonable time following the starter.
Service by the remaining waiting staff was slow - they could do with taking a leaf put of Amber's book, and /or being trained by her, but the one good thing is that you are not rushed out of the restaurant.
I had the sea bass (again) which was lovely with the sauce that came with it.
Situated in Debenhams, it is an ideal place to stop for a meal after a hard days shopping or, equally, a good place to meet friends for a meal or a drink as there is ample parking.
I would recommend it.

£19.95 for 3 courses of excellent pan Asian cuisine and a glass of prosecco! Must be a Wednesday then...
2 excellent starters - a substantial amount of delicious hoisin duck sushi for me, salt & pepper squid for the wife - which were shared with glee.
Mains were also superb - crispy chilli beef with the perfect amount of spice and some very Pad Thai-ish noodles for moi, Em had an even better tempura veg and katsu curry with rice. Both very substantial (very!) and tasty.
Desserts were great too - a warm, decadent, gooey chocolate fondant, and a very fresh (although slightly too wobbly - not sure if that means anything?) mango cheesecake.
All in all great value, delicious food in a place you probably wouldn't have expected.
