Fantastic service from the second we entered the restaurant, the food was second to none, best far the best I've eaten locally. Great value and atmosphere for the quality of the overall experience

One of few Bedfordshire restaurants named in The Good Food Guide, Chez Jerome in Dunstable serves high quality French cuisine. Fine wines partner the continental menu of award-winning chef Jerome Dehoux, with decadent Sunday lunches often accompanied by smooth live jazz.

The eclectic Chez Jerome menu offers 2 and 3-course lunches, featuring corn-fed chicken roulade and seared salmon with chardonnay leek sauce. Flambéed crêpe suzette makes for a suitably Gallic conclusion.

Try pork fillet with black pudding and stilton cream, or a juicy sirloin steak with brandy pepper sauce. Wicked crème brûlée and refreshing lime-lemon cheesecake are among indulgent desserts at Chez Jerome restaurant, while the wine list takes in some fine European and new world vintages.

In a smart 15th-century building, exposed beams and stuccoed walls add to a rustic, informal atmosphere. Chez Jerome in Dunstable is a short walk from the centre of town on Church Street.

Went for lunch recently with two disabled ladies, had the lunch special menu which was excellent value, food also excellent. Service was very efficient and friendly, made us feel very welcome. We have visited before and will certainly be going back again

Lovely intimate restaurant we were greeted and given a lovely table by the window. Our waiter was very attentive and we were served quickly. Food was presented beautifully and tasted divine. Would definitely recommend and will be returning. Reasonably priced too.

As always, a thoroughly enjoyable visit to Chez Jerome, where we are always made to feel most welcome. Service quick and efficient by delightful serving staff. Food delicious and beautifully presented. Music pleasant although a little too loud at times so we were unable to chat easily to each other. All in all, though, a great experience and we can't wait to return!

I have been once before two years ago and the food was great. My return to Chez Jerome was extremely disappointing. I ordered asparagus, poached egg and hollandaise sauce but it wasn't very good. Asparagus just barely cooked and was tasteless, hollandaise sauce tasted weird and the egg was completely bland. My friend had a goats cheese tart and the pastry was rock hard and so he didn't eat most of it. The main meals didn't bring much relief after the disappointing starters; we both had the cod, but it was extremely dry and the dish as a whole was not up to scratch. The starters were taken off the bill but that didn't really make a dent in the bill. The only things I enjoyed were the wine and the coffee. Not sure I would go back again.

Our favourite restaurant. Food is always good, well presented and reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and helpful. A wonderful place to eat either in the evening or at lunch time.
