Evoking the rich culture of India, Chettinad Restaurant serves traditional South Indian cuisine. Offering a tranquil setting in the centre of London, floor-to-ceiling windows let light shine onto the sleek, simple dining room.

The pride of the Chettinad menu is the house curry, which sees exactly 23 ingredients blended for an intensely aromatic flavour. Innovative blends are offset by classic tandoori dishes, like lamb madras and a light chicken samosa with tarmind and mint chutney. Alongside a range of wholesome vegetarian options loaded with flavour, Chettinad London offers time-honoured recipes for dessert.

An eclectic wine list at Chettinad restaurant showcases a crowd-pleasing range of international bottles, or guests can relax with a traditionally prepared gourmet coffee. A loaded lunchtime buffet filled with colourful delicacies is also a popular choice.

Crafting authentic flavours in the city, Chettinad offers a charming hideaway. Tottenham Court Road Tube Station is 5 minutes’ walk away.

Eaten there a few times now so ready to post my review. Consistently great food at a good price. Staff attentive but not too much so. This is just a really nice and enjoyable restaurant which I am sure that you will enjoy. Please give this restaurant a try if you are in the area, you will not be disappointed

Early evening dinner following a recommendation which was very accurate. Very friendly with staff anxious to please and help out with recommendations, choices etc. Also very keen to ensure the meals were satisfactory. The meal portions could be a little more substantial but you cannot fault the excellent cooking and the variety of flavours. Definitely a cut above your average Indian restaurant.
