Boasting a selection of champagnes all with international awards, Champagne + Fromage offer rustic French food. The dining room-cum-shop is dotted with various displays of French fare, while pavement seating provides an al fresco experience for sunny days.
From frogs’ legs to snails and charcuterie boards, the Champagne + Fromage menu is both succinct and enveloping. Try the Savoyard tartine with stringy melted raclette cheese, thinly sliced potatoes, onions, fennel salami and Corsican ham. Other favourites at the French Bubbles restaurant include the fromage board, laden with grapes, bread, quince paste and your choice of any 3 cheeses from a 30-strong selection. The intriguing mix of chocolate and cheese features on the dessert menu, with the option of a chocolate fondant with Bleu des Basques cheese.
Informed staff will help to pick the perfect bottle of bubbles to suit your meal at Champagne + Fromage bistro. Specialising in independently produced champagne, the sophisticated and informal Covent Garden restaurant hosts hugely popular monthly champagne and cheese master classes. Champagne and Fromage offers tasting sessions held on a monthly basis, which compile carefully chosen champagne bins, artisanal cheeses and foie gras.
Enjoying lengthy praise in an array of savvy publications, Champagne + Fromage restaurant is branded as a ‘perfect retreat’, and Square Meal notes how ‘new treats are [uncovered] on every visit’. Wow! What a great find. Yes, a tiny venue but service is friendly and helpful, a great range of champagnes and superb selection of cheeses, meats, salads.

Delicious indulgent champagne and cheese lunch for mother of the bride and friends with bride to be. Gorgeous baked camembert with garlic and herbs and although initial supply of necessary bread looked small, this was quickly replenished on request. We opted for the Gourmet Platter to share but augmented this with further 3 cheese platter. You don't get a lot of cheese but what you get is of superb quality especially the heavenly brie with truffle. Excellent guidance on champagne with good range from lesser known independent producers. Selections from the menu are displayed on a big blackboard and the only downsides of the venue were the rather tatty, well fingerered menus pages on a clipboard (would be nice if they were reprinted as their rather grubby condition wasn't very appealing) and the loos were somewhat French in presentation and needed some tlc.

A lovely venue and helpful staff. Enjoyed the afternoon tea but felt it was a bit mean on the amount of cheese given. Not great value for money but nice to have a change from the usual afternoon tea. Unsure whether I would recommend it to others.

Fig tartine was my favourite. Great food and atmosphere and opposite the Lion King which was our entertainment for the evening! Fourth trip to this restaurant- I strongly recommend it.

Perfect pre theatre experience. Lovely afternoon tea with no stodgy sandwiches but beautiful French cheeses and bread instead.

The food was very good quality and good portion sizes . Great places to catch up with friends over a few glasses of fizz . Prices range £9-14 a glass Service was hit or miss . Make sure you get served by the French waitress who was lovely but not the dismissive French waiter who didn't really want to be there or care to much about service. We calculated being ignored 4 times despite my friends attempt at waving an empty champagne glass at him.

Excellent - great service, super champagne (from a large selection) and divine cheese (also from a large selection!).
