Pleasant meal and good atmosphere. Very busy but service was still timely. Advisable to book a table especially for large numbers.

This was my third visit to the Chalkhill Blue and it was just as good as the previous two. The staff were very helpful and friendly, they seemed to genuinely want to give the best service that they could. The food, as always, was excellent and very good value for money. It is great to find a restaurant that serves excellent food at reasonable prices.

Ambience good, staff friendly and attentive. Food very good, half a chicken too much for me, but I enjoyed it. Vegetables predictable, carrots and peas overdone but what do you expect for £6 for a main course.
