I booked this restaurant on the star deal 6 tasting menu and drink for £30. We were warmly welcomed by the lady at the front who took our coats, we had our welcome drinks at the bar a couple of cocktails and were introduced to the lovely manager who was very friendly. We had poppadum’s and chutney placed on the table to start, whilst smaller tasting dishes came out in quick succession until the main tasting course where there was a long pause. The food was nice the environment was lovely and the manager was really charming. I would say the rest of the staff could have done with less chatting to each other and more keeping an eye on the tables, I had to ask for water on 3 occasions the empty poppadum bowl was left empty on the table the whole meal (it would have been nice If this was topped up between courses as we waited 20minutes for the mains to come which was fine just would have been nice to have something to nibble on) the desert was stunning rose water ice cream and to end the meal the manager took us back to the bar for a small glass of desert wine. Charming overall quiet relaxing evening but there is room for improvement.Welcoming staff, very friendly environment the

The restaurant is easy to find from Notting Hill Gate station, greeted by a warm welcome by staff. After being seated, we were served a lychee cocktail and an array of indian food, beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. The 6 course tasting menu was great, and plenty of it - unfortunately, you can't take away a doggy bag! Staff were attentive and helpful explaining each course and dishes. Would definitely eat here again.

We arrived an hour early which we were told was no problem. The decor and ambience was enticing and held a lot of hope of what was to come. The waiting staff seemed not to know we had booked a tasting menu, but once this was cleared up we our lotus leaf salad which had lovely flavours but we were still hopeful of what was to come. To cut a long story short when the food did arrive (a further 50mins from the first course) it was cold, when it was then replaced it was served in bowls half the size of the originals. Whilst the general appearance and taste of the food was adequate it was certainly nothing special and judging by all the awards and certificates given out in 2012 adoring the toilet walls, this restaurant is dining out on past glories. As a couple with 2 children we go out very rarely and the amount of time we spent waiting for food made for a totally spoilt night!

Booked the 6 course taster menu and enjoyed all the food. Good value for money and did not come away hungry. We got there early and so the restaurant was empty but started to fill up as we were leaving.
