Alongside nibbles, sharers, sandwiches and basket meals, The Chairmakers menu offers smoked chicken and prawn spring rolls, award winning faggots from Owtons Butcher, and apple and herb-crusted pork chop.

Actual food fine. Waitress didnt check if all food was ok for us. Staff chatting to each other, it wasnt busy for a Saturday eve. Not asked if we wanted coffee etc. Overall nice setting, very casual service considering the expensive prices. Spoke to manager following evening by phone though apologetic , no offer of 'have another try of us 'or offer of free meal/coffee/ drink if we return etc.

Excellent Dining experience . We went on a Sunday Lunchtime and had the Carvery, There was a choice of Beef , Gammon or Pork , we had the Beef which was cooked to perfection , real melt in the mouth . A good selection of vegetables was on offer and the meal was reasonably priced.
